The brake system is one of the most important parts on which the safety of the car on the roads depends, so it is the focus of the attention of many motorists, and here the question arises, how can you ensure the safety of the brake system in cars?

This is what we will learn in the following lines

Steps through which to identify the safety of the brake system in cars:

1- First, you have to remove the tires of the car one by one so that the brake discs are exposed in front of you.

2- Check the brake discs in front of you, and make sure that there is no fluid leakage in the oil lines connected to the brakes or the brake discs of the car.

3- Make sure that the brake discs are intact and have no visible cracks, fractures or pits.

4- Make sure that the brake discs are free from any prominent or noticeable dents in the disc.

5- In this step, you need to check the thickness of the brake pads; If its thickness is less than 10 mm, you must replace it immediately

6 – While walking, you must make sure that there are no sounds such as a loud screeching sound, these sounds indicate the presence of friction in the internal parts of the brakes, and these sounds are issued when the thickness of the brake pads is less than the permissible limit.

7 – Make sure that there is no slight vibration of the pedal under your foot, while pressing the brakes at medium speeds, which usually means that the brake discs need to be replaced.
