British luxury carmaker Bentley has officially announced the introduction of an exclusive new version of the 2023 Flying Spur sedan, the Bentley flying spur S 2023.
It is a more sporty version of the luxury sedan, featuring exclusive updated interior-to-exterior aesthetics that distinguish it from the other S-editions of the Bentley Sedan, including the darker exterior trim.
The Bentley Flying Spur S 2023 is set to make its public debut later this month during the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which runs from June 23-26.

One of the best four-door sedans from Bentley, it looks an impressive and more attractive sports car thanks to the inclusion of new updates to provide a more dynamic driving experience.
The company is re-introducing the car with the new version, with quiet aesthetic updates and gloss black trim. It is also offered with a choice of a V-8 engine or a plug-in hybrid. This is the first time the Bentley S has been offered as a plug-in hybrid.

EXTERIOR DESIGN
- The car received some exterior updates, which mainly focus on cosmetic changes to make it look more sporty.
- Where the car came with a more attractive appearance with a new sporty design, visual upgrades to its exterior design included black chrome inlays and a new S logo on the front fenders.
- Dominating the front, the front grille with vertical stripes has been painted gloss black for a simpler look, with darker headlights.
- With gloss black trim that appears on the lower air intakes, mirror caps, window trim and exhaust tips.
- The car has a stylish rear look with very minor updates such as dark-colored taillights and black quad exhaust tips, it also features the Bentley badge and the chrome lettering on the trunk lid.
- The latest Flying Spur S Edition is based on several wheels in different designs and colors that have red painted brake calipers, options include: 21-inch 3-spoke wheels in gloss black, and new wheels are available in the updated Y-design 22-inch.
Interior Design
- The cabin came with an elegant design, with two-tone seats that came with upholstery in a mixture of leather and suede, to provide a more comfortable and luxurious feeling for passengers.
- The heated steering wheel, gear shift lever, seat cushions and seat backrests are upholstered in a suede-like material.
- The cabin also includes S-specific touches. It also gets Continental GT Speed graphics, the S badge or the Bentley badge embroidered on the headrests is a no-charge option.
- Other S-specific touches that appear throughout the cabin include illuminated sill plates, a metallic “S” badge on the instrument panel, and an updated digital instrument cluster.

- In terms of performance details, there are two powertrain options available. The first option is an advanced V-8 petrol engine with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter (4000 cc) engine that produces 543 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque ( 568 lbs.).
- Mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it comes standard with all-wheel electronic steering.
- This makes the Flying Spur S capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 4 seconds, with a top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h).
- The second, more environmentally friendly option, is a hybrid system, consisting of a 2.9-liter V-6 internal combustion engine, mated to an electric motor powered by a 14.1 kWh battery pack, producing 536 horsepower. And a torque of 750 Nm (553 lb-ft).
- It’s just 0.1 seconds slower than a V-8 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds, and this version also supports a net electric range of up to 21 miles EPA.
- Active anti-roll bars are standard equipment, with cornering body roll prevention that maintains the expected flexibility to drive.
- The 626-horsepower Bentley W-12 engine is not available on the S model.
The price of the new “S” version of the Bentley Flying Spur 2023
- The hybrid model will start at $240,500, while the V-8 will cost about $241,200, plus options and destination fees.
