Flying Spur Hybrid is the name of the ambassador sent by Bentley to the Good Wood Car Festival, which takes place in Britain from 8-11 July. Bentley’s eye for visitors, with a range of styling options inside and out, the new Flying Spur Hybrid demonstrates Bentley’s ability to combine sustainable design, exquisite craftsmanship and effortless performance.
Its streamlined shape balances elegance and aerodynamic efficiency, and the long roofline evokes a sense of effortless power.
With the front fender badge selected, and with a touring range of 435 miles, 25 of which can be achieved using electric power alone, Bentley says the Flying Spur Hybrid offers “improved quietness” for zero-emissions city driving,
but approaches the speed of a V8 Flying Spur .
Although the engine is only six cylinders.
Flying Spur Hybrid Driving without compromise

Like its hybrid Bentia, the car features a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 petrol engine under the hood with a 100 kW electric motor, compression between engine and transmission.
Together, they operate all four wheels depending on which driving mode is selected;
The Flying Spur Hybrid engine delivers easy power on the open road and the ability to drive using electric power alone.

The powertrain delivers 544 hp (407 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), and the electrified Flying Spur Hybrid has 95 hp (70 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
It can achieve acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds, and with this hybrid car, forget
about the 198 mph speed of its old engine , all you get is 177 mph (285 km / h).

The
Flying Spur Hybrid showcases Bentley’s technology, a real step forward in luxury hybrid cars .
With a combination of petrol and electric power, the hybrid offers three driving modes.
EV Drive mode lets you take short trips using electric power alone.
And an option called Hold mode, where the car relies primarily on a gasoline engine with some electric propulsion, and recovers battery power when you need it later.

The hybrid mode option enables the car to switch between the petrol engine and electric power, and in this mode, the car’s intelligent navigation system can operate in electronic predictive mode.
His work is not limited to determining the path.
Rather, it adjusts the balance between gasoline and electric power independently.
It looks at road distance, battery levels, speed limits, number of intersections and potential levels of traffic congestion, then determines which parts of the trip must be powered by the motor and which can rely on the electric motor.
Designed to make progress

The Flying Spur Hybrid technical update shows
a host of special added connected features and services, where you can check battery usage on the head-up display for example and start charging the car remotely from your phone, while the exterior differences are modest, the craftsmanship of the finishing touch to a handcrafted cabin is revealed. At Crewe Factory, where beautiful wood veneers come together with the leather colors of your choice, more space and light more plentiful.

Inside, your choice of five standard leather shades can be complemented by any one of ten individual hulls – including traditional options like Dark Stained Burr Walnut and open pore veneers like Koa or Dark Burr Walnut.
You can add a chrome stripe line or choose one of six Mulliner double veneer, with a contrast black section to accentuate the beauty of the wood, and you can choose from a standard palette of seven paint colors.
But there are also choices from Bentley’s extended range, which gives you access to 80 additional paint colors.
Flying Spur Hybrid with seamless integration

The MyBentley app includes features that make life easier with the Flying Spur Hybrid.
It enables you to remotely check how much battery charge is left at any time.
You can access your trip statistics and even control the car’s interior comfort systems remotely.
For example, you can program the car to start charging before you need to drive it.
You can also pre-heat (or pre-cool) the cabin to the optimum temperature, before entering.
And of course, you are not limited to performing these functions on your phone.
Each feature can be accessed using the central touchscreen in the dashboard. The 12.3-inch central touchscreen can be split into two or three separate windows if desired, and can be fully customized to prioritize important information for both the driver and front passenger.

In the digital display behind the steering wheel, the car features stylish new graphics.
You can choose whether you want to view the discs in Classic mode or Extended mode – the latter provides a wider view of the navigation map, in addition to the display on the central touchscreen.
You can even choose whether the numbers on the speedometer appear in miles or kilometers per hour.
Appearance Options

Your choice of wheels will make a huge difference in the visual character of your vehicle.
Which is why, for those who want to go beyond the standard 20-inch wheels, Bentley offers two of two 21-inch options: a forged 10-spoke wheel and the same design as the 10-spoke wheel with a finish that combines darker painted elements Gray with shiny metallic details.
For even more sportiness, the addition of the Mulliner Drive Spec offers a choice of three gorgeous 22-inch wheel designs, with a range of finishes including an all-black option.

Chrome-plated matrix grilles can also be added, to give the Flying Spur Hybrid even more presence as it approaches.
If you’re after a darker aesthetic, Blackline’s specs turn the matrix grilles and most of the bright exteriors black — everything, in fact, except for the decals.
The result is an eye-catching injection of extra posture.
Availability of wheel options varies by country.
Bentley did not specify the price of its new plane.
