Ford Focus Facelift 2023 Official Unveiled

American Ford has officially introduced its updated Ford Focus Facelift 2023 model year 2023 in China, with mid-life updates.

Images of the restyled car were leaked earlier in February, but the new images give us a better look at the updates, with a look that is closer to its European counterpart.

The company is reintroducing the new car, with a second mid-life update to the fourth generation Focus in China, after the original debuted in 2018 and the first update in 2020.

• Available in both sedan and hatchback versions, the model looks impressive and impressive thanks to the inclusion of new updates and many advanced technologies.
• The updated vehicle will be produced by a joint venture between Ford and Changan in Chongqing, China, which gets quiet aesthetic improvements over what came before with a new engine without plug-in hybrid.
• It will be available in two trim levels, including the ST-Line Sport trim and the new S version inspired by the Focus RS.
• In terms of exterior dimensions, the hatchback measures 4,401 mm (173.3 in) and the sedan is 4,664 mm (183.6 in) long while retaining the same wheelbase of 2,705 mm (106.5 in).
• The ST-Line and S Edition models also come with a ground clearance of 10 mm (0.4 in).

EXTERIOR DESIGN

• The Ford Focus Facelift 2023 has received some moderate changes and minor differences to its exterior design compared to the version intended for the European market.
• Where the car came with a more attractive appearance in a modern design language, the front is dominated by a black grille integrated with the headlights for a bold and more aggressive look inspired by fighter planes, with black decorations on the grille.
• The black color on the grille and air intakes contrasts with the body-colored wings on the front bumper, while the LED lights are also different.
• The side profile is unchanged, while the rear gets very simple touches, fake intakes and a sporty splitter with dual exhaust pipes, the S Edition also features a black rear spoiler and a set of racing badges.
• The ST-Line Sport Edition rides on 18-inch gray aluminum-alloy wheels with red brake calipers, while the S Edition rides on high-gloss black wheels.

Interior Design

• The interior has been elegantly designed with the best materials and leather, to provide a more comfortable and luxurious feeling during flights.
• Inside the cabin, we can see an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and the SYNC + Zhi Mo infotainment system developed by Ford and Baidu with a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
• It has black or blue leather upholstery depending on the trim, carbon fiber trim, suede-like trim, blue seat belts and a perforated leather steering wheel with red stitching.

ENTERTAINMENT AND FACILITIES

• The Ford Focus Facelift 2023 features many technologies as well as modern amenities and luxuries, including a B&O audio system and Ford Co-Pilot360 ADAS Level 2 Autonomous Driving System.

Safety and security systems

• Regarding the performance details of the Chinese version for the year 2023, the car adopts a four-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine, with a capacity of 1.5 liters (1500 cc), which produces 180 horsepower (132 kW) and torque of 270 Nm (199 lb-ft). .
• This power is sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed sports automatic transmission, with three driving modes: Standard, Economy and Sport, which differs from the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in the European version.
• This allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 7.9 seconds, with updated suspension, steering and brake systems.
