The Chinese automaker, Changan, has launched its new cars, called UNI K, which translates to permanent safety, for the year 2023 in the Middle East markets.

It is one of the models that fall within the luxury SUV SUV, comes with two rows of passenger seats, and is the big sister to the UNI T car available in the market.

• Belonging to mid-size crossover models with all-wheel drive, it has a strong appearance and plenty of standard features with its dynamic design.
• It is presented in the market in one category, full option, in the name of Changan UNI-K Elite 2023.
• It is available in the UAE through its agent, Etihad Motors, and in Saudi Arabia, through the Almajdouie Motors Agency.
• It competes with Peugeot 3008, Geely Okavango, Honda CRV, Chery Tiggo iPro, Kia Sportage and GAC GS8.
• In terms of exterior measurements, the car measures 4,865 meters in length, 1,948 meters in width and 1,960 meters in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,890 meters.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

• On the outside, the new UNI K adopts an attractive, modern design, and is highly aerodynamic, with a curved coupe-style rear roof and some strong, sporty touches.
• The front part has a large Vision-V grille, taking center stage in the front, which features a hexagonal grille pattern with chrome trim, integrated with the front bumper and slim LED headlights, and fog lights are installed on both sides of the front bumper.
• From the side, the side mirrors and door handles come in the same color as the bodywork, and the door handles at the rear are hidden, giving the car a bold sporty look and reducing the drag coefficient.
• It is also based on sporty 21-inch wheels surrounded by all-season Continental wheels with chrome accents behind the wheels.
• From the rear, it features a light strip extending across the width and raised stop lamps with four round-shaped fuel exhaust outlets, and the upper part is crowned with a sporty rear spoiler.

Interior Design

• As for the cabin, the new Changan UNI K 2023 offers an elegant cabin in black or camel, made of high-quality materials and packed with technology systems.
• There are two rows of seats covered in premium leather with heating and cooling technology that can accommodate 5 adults, and the second row of seats is wide and foldable, with a center console that opens and closes.
• We also find a multifunction steering wheel with chrome, an air purification system in the cabin and rear air conditioning vents.
• There’s also a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen mounted on the dashboard, and it has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interface, and a navigation system.

• As for technology, means of communication and entertainment, it has the latest technologies, most notably 10 Hifi speakers that provide a new audio experience, with a charging port and the feature of charging phones wirelessly.

• It is worth noting the variety of safety systems and advanced safety features available in the car. The car is equipped with electronic parking brakes, anti-lock brakes and adaptive cruise control.
