EXTERIOR DESIGN
The exterior design of the Volkswagen ID Aero 2023 appears very elegant, certainly in keeping with the familiar design language of the brand’s iconic ID cars, coupled with its sharp exterior.
There’s also a short, low hood, flush door handles and an illuminated Volkswagen badge.
The sporty front end and sharp, slender Matrix LED headlights with distinctive detailing convey an uncommon design identity for the brand and create an exclusive look.
The front of the car also has a connected light strip that runs horizontally across the front to the left and right.
It has a long sloping roof that slopes elegantly back in coupe style, allowing optimal airflow over the car to enhance its aerodynamics. The roofline makes the electric sedan appear flatter and more dynamic and helps increase the electric range.
In addition, the classic door handles have been replaced with illuminated touch surfaces, reducing air resistance even more.
The rear fascia is eye-catching, featuring an eye-catching full-width dark light strip and rear-wide LED clusters with a wide honeycomb body and coupe-style three-quarter rear design for added appeal.
The new car rides on massive 22-inch sports wheels with a turbocharged design and is integrated into the wheel covers and surprisingly rounded arches.
The concept car was painted in Polar Light Blue Metallic, which creates a shimmering golden effect in the right lighting conditions.
While the roof comes in black high-gloss different from the body of the car to give a sense of luxury.
Interior Design
As for the cabin, the company did not reveal the interior features of the Volkswagen ID Aero 2023 and the rest of the technical specifications that the company will adopt in its upcoming electric cars, and it has not provided us with any pictures yet.
But the company claims that it allows for an exceptionally large and spacious interior for the car.
mechanical specifications
The company has not disclosed the performance specifications and power outputs that will be available in detail, and speculation is that it will rely on a very powerful engine, and we also expect single and twin engine versions that provide between 125 and 220 kW.
Thanks to its excellent aerodynamic properties, it can achieve a net electric range of up to 620 kilometers (385 miles), based on the European WLTP test cycle.
Power will be drawn from a powerful 77 kWh lithium-ion battery that has a draw coefficient of 0.23.
