The German company Mercedes-Benz revealed its new Mercedes CLA 2024 model year (Mercedes CLA 2024), with some new changes and updates in appearance.
It is now in its second generation, which began in 2019, and is still making some significant exterior updates to the sedan.
It is classified as a sedan, and it comes with a more modern design and comfortable suspension system, and it is distinguished by its performance, the power of its engines, and the powertrain upgrades that it obtained with a full list of distinguished specifications, which we will introduce to you in this report.
Mercedes CLA 2024 Facelift
Belonging to the category of affordable luxury coupes, it is compact, practical and easy to live with featuring a luxurious interior with a range of user-friendly enhanced technologies, respectable engine performance and good economy.
It received a modest redesign for 2024. Updates included a redesigned front end, revamped headlights and taillights, new wheel options, new colors, and a revamped engine range that includes mild hybrid technology.
Specifications of the Mercedes CLA 2024
Exterior design
- The car has a stylish and new exterior design with some acceptable improvements.
- In addition to a new front end that includes a grille with vertical slats in a more modern design, in the middle of which is the Mercedes-Benz triple star logo, with reworked LED headlights.
- The design of the rear diffuser has also been revised and the taillights have also been updated.
- There are also three new wheel designs available on the CLA 35 AMG, which come with 18-inch 10-spoke wheels and can be optionally available with 19-inch five-spoke wheels.
- The AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus adds a fixed rear diffuser on the CLA 45S AMG model, and comes standard with 19-inch wheels, and there is an optional 19-inch wheel design as well.
- Rounding out the exterior updates are two new exterior paint options; Hyper Blue, Starling Blue.
Interior Design
- Moving inside, we find a cabin that has luxurious designs, plenty of technology with many exclusive features, most notably the dual color options on the seats.
- It comes with 5 interior upholstery options, the front seats can be adjusted in 12 electrical ways, but the rear seat space is a bit tight.
- Behind the wheel, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system are also available, both of which are powered by the latest “MBUX” interface that contains new classic and sporty display styles.
- The updated version of the infotainment system is even more user-friendly than before, there are physical buttons for the climate control system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions have been added.
- New trim levels get a choice of carbon, open-pore brown wood or the option of AMG-exclusive brown microfiber.
- Updated cabin options include a Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, sunroof and an optional Burmester sound system.
Security and safety systems
- It is worth noting that it has many safety systems, and it comes standard with the Parking Package and includes a 360-degree camera as standard on all versions.
- And the car gets advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and lane departure alert, and brakes that operate automatically before a collision.
- An available Driver Assistance Package has also been updated, providing customers with assistance in improving steering control and lane keeping.
Mechanical specifications
- In terms of the powertrain, the standard version of the CLA 250 is powered by a two-liter (2000cc) I-4 turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with support from a 48-volt battery pack that adds an additional 13 horsepower boost.
- To get a total of 221 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 1800 rpm, it takes 0-100 km in about 5.6 seconds, and its top speed is 209 km per hour.
- It comes with a standard front-wheel drive system and can be optionally ordered with an AWD system on the CLA 250 4Matic version, and the power flows through the wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission.
- In the case of obtaining a Mercedes CLA 35 AMG, it comes with a two-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbo, and also acquires a 48-volt electrical system, and the total output of the system is 302 horsepower.
- It comes standard with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
- At the top of the lineup is the CLA 45S AMG, which has the same turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, but with 416 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
- This version can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4 seconds.
The price of the Mercedes CLA 2024

- We expect the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA to start at around $42,000. This would be for the CLA 250 model with front-wheel drive. At the top of the lineup, the CLA 45 S is anticipated to be at least $60K, possibly reaching $75K if a buyer were extravagant with the options.
