The new 2024 Volvo EX90 is a best-in-class seven-passenger, three-row electric SUV. Hopefully, Volvo’s promise of more processing power will help it run more smoothly.
The layout and home screen also appear to have been slightly reconfigured.

Volvo has built two basic drivetrain configurations into the EX90, both of which are twin motors linked to a four-wheel drive system on both axles, and both powered by a 111kWh battery pack.

The EX90 has what Volvo calls the Driver Understanding System.
It’s a driver monitoring setup that uses two cameras to track the driver’s eyes.
If it senses that the driver may be distracted, drowsy or otherwise unresponsive, Volvo says the car will issue warnings and, if necessary, the system will bring the car to a safe stop and call for assistance.
There is also an interior radar system that can sound an alert if children or pets are accidentally left in the car while it is parked.
