The American automaker Ford unveiled the 2024 Ford Mustang in its all-new seventh generation, and also announced the pricing of the car in its various categories.
It should be noted that the famous sports car is the best-selling in the world, and Ford has been producing it for decades. We will introduce you to its most important specifications and prices within this report.
Ford Mustang 2024
- A pure-burning sports coupe, it’s new for 2024 and has just become more efficient and more tech-savvy.
- Ford didn’t launch the Mustang with a hybrid option, and all current Mustangs are rear-wheel drive.
- Ford says that it will put the new car on sale in the United States in the summer of 2023, as a 2024 model.

Exterior design
- Visually, the car receives new sheet metal with a sharper and more modern look.
- Ford is creating a visual differentiation between the base model and the GT model with this model, and both will feature different front fascias.
- The GT model gets even more aggressive and will feature a prominent vent hood that the base model doesn’t.
- Ford will offer a performance package for both the GT and EcoBoost models. This could add features such as a front tower brace, limited-slip differential, wider wheels and tires, bigger Brembo brakes and optional MagneRide active suspension.
- The Performance Package adds additional cooling to the GT’s brake ducts and engine oil. Buyers can also add Recaro seats and an active exhaust system.
Interior Design
- Moving on to the interior, Mustang gets a new cockpit with a digital display for the driver, which includes a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster.
- Meanwhile, a 12.4-inch touchscreen infotainment screen is available and the screen size increases to 13.2 inches in the Premium version with SYNC 4 instead of switching to Google’s Android operating system.
- Ford will move many of the controls to the touchscreen. But Mustang will have a protruding handle, which passengers can reach.
- The screens will be highly customizable, with features like the “Fox Body” display. They’ll also incorporate 3D graphics using the Unreal game engine.
Security and safety systems
- In terms of safety and security equipment, the new car is equipped with a generous list of safety features, and all grades come with Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite with high-performance electronic parking brake.
- Ford has also added the Remote Rev function, which allows the owner to rev the engine with the press of a button on the ignition.
Mechanical specifications
- On a mechanical level, the new American car’s engine line-up will look familiar.
- The base engine remains the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, with a turbocharger, which generates 315 horsepower and 476 Nm of torque and is mated to an automatic transmission.
- Also available will be the option of the uniquely-sounding 5-liter Coyote V8 engine specific to the Mustang GT. The GT will put out 480 horsepower and 564 Nm of torque, an increase of 30 horsepower over the 2023 model, with a new dual intake airbox.
- Mustang still offers a six-speed manual transmission in addition to an automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive.
- The new, best-in-class race-ready Mustang Dark Horse will produce 500 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque.
