One of the common malfunctions that many owners of cars with manual and automatic transmissions are exposed to is hearing strange sounds when shifting gears, in addition to the heaviness and slow acceleration of the car, especially when shifting gears.

As for the reason for this, the specialists stress that the most likely cause of this problem is a lack of the gearbox oil in the car, which requires changing it immediately. The specialists also warned against supplying the gearbox oil without changing it; Because this may cause severe damage to the transmission components.

The timing of changing the gearbox oil in cars:

If the car is equipped with a manual transmission, it is recommended to change the gearbox oil after a mileage of 60,000 km.

If the transmission is an 8-speed automatic, then it is recommended to change the gearbox oil after a mileage of 80,000 km.

If the car is equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission, in this case it is recommended to change the transmission oil after a mileage of 60,000 km.
