Ford’s sales in the US increased last month by 36.6%

Ford Motor Company, the second largest producer of modern cars in the United States of America, announced last week that Ford sales in the American market increased during the month of July by 36.6% annually to 163,942 cars, as the same company produced 12,253 cars during the same month last year 2021, as Ford’s retail sales increased last July by 52.3%, an annual increase.

Ford sales rose in the US market last month

Following the increase in Ford sales last July, Ford became the first major automaker to achieve significant sales growth in the US market for the second month in a row.

On the other hand, at the same time as Ford’s sales rose, it was noticed that car sales in general in the market declined in July by more than 10.5%.

And if we compare Ford’s sales for July 2022 with the same month last year 2021, we note that Ford’s share in the US market increased by 4.8 percentage points to 13.9% compared to last year.

It was also noted that this increase came from the sales of electric cars and light vehicles of the (F) family, as well as multi-purpose vehicles with sports equipment (SUV) large luxury.

While Ford’s sales of electric vehicles increased by 168.7% annually, during the month of July, sales of hybrid cars came from Ford by 35.3% annually.

Ford Motor Company is recently working on testing a new technology that will reduce the speed of vehicles automatically when they enter dangerous areas, with the aim of enhancing safety and security, and this is through the use of advanced technology that draws virtual oceans for realistic geographical areas, as the speed of the connected car is supposed to decrease Internet automatically when crossing the border.

And according to what was reported by the newspaper , that by doing so, besieging virtual borders such as schools, hospitals or shopping areas, and other areas that abound in front of pedestrian traffic.

In the same context, Ford official Michael Huynh stressed that this new technology that the company is working on could eliminate the need for speed limit signs, as well as prevent drivers from incurring any speeding fines inadvertently.

Michael Huynh also continued, pointing out that this technology for cars has enormous potential, in order to assist the driver and make the daily driving process easier, safer and safer and, accordingly, to maintain the safety of everyone, not just the driver.
