The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe is a well-equipped mid-size two-row SUV, and these high-tech vehicles have a number of tricks up their sleeve. An available blind-spot camera displays an image of the area next to the SUV in the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.



During the 2022 Santa Fe update, Hyundai upgraded the SUV’s suite of safety technologies to include automatic emergency braking, with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and swerve linkages to help prevent the Santa Fe from turning into an oncoming vehicle’s lane.

Chevrolet Bolt EUV 2022
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is the brand’s first electric SUV. It shares its electric propulsion system with the smaller 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV, but it offers one feature not found in the smaller car. Besides being one of the high-tech cars, it is the least expensive car that General Motors offers with its partially automated Super Cruise technology.



Super Cruise can manage acceleration, steering, and brakes to provide partially automated driving on select highways. But the driver must remain engaged and alert, or the system will be shut down. The Bolt EUV electric car has a battery range of 247 miles on a single charge.
It can be recharged via a variety of sources, including DC fast charging stations. We couldn’t score the Chevrolet Bolt hybrid and electric SUV on our lists due to incomplete crash testing and predictable reliability scores, but it really is a beautiful car.
2021 Nissan Altima 2021-22
There are several midsize sedans, including the 2021 Nissan Altima, 2021 Toyota Camry, and 2021 Honda Accord, and they all come standard with long lists of standard safety and driver assistance technologies. Mercedes-Benz GLA 2021-22
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA offers one of the cheapest ways to get access to the latest technology that Mercedes has to offer. Some features, such as the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, come standard. Others, too, provide augmented reality navigation that overlays directions to display a video of the path ahead.





It comes with a 7-inch touch screen as standard, while another 10.25-inch screen is available. The same applies to the customizable digital instrument panel, just choose the dual 10.25-inch screens, and more than one screen can be combined to appear as a single wide screen in front of you.
The vehicle can be handled with natural voice commands. Instead of saying “climate control 68 degrees”, you can simply say “hello Mercedes, I’m warm” and the system will adjust accordingly. The GLA is not currently recorded in our luxury SUV rating for incomplete crash test data.
Tesla Model 3 2021
The 2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus is the cheapest Tesla vehicle you can currently buy. It’s not just a high-tech car, it’s a showcase of electric car technology, with a range of 263 miles on a single charge, and the ability to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. You can buy a Model 3 for about $41,490.

Choose the highest performance class, and you can shoot this Tesla from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.1 seconds. The top speed of the performance model is 162 mph.
Unlike most cars, the Model 3 has very few buttons and switches. Instead, nearly every function is controlled via the central 15-inch touch screen. The Model 3 comes standard with a Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless device charging and navigation, but it doesn’t support Apple Play or Android Auto. But it scored near the top of the luxury electric car rating.
2021 Kia Niro 2021-2022
The 2021 Kia Niro is a compact crossover with three high-tech propulsion engines, including a petrol/electric hybrid, a plug-in hybrid and an electric-only vehicle (EV).




The Niro gas/electric hybrid engine achieves an EPA-rated fuel economy of 51 mpg. All Niro models (except for the base) come with driver drowsiness monitoring, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also included. Kia is pleased to offer these high-tech cars at a price of 24,690 dollars.
The plug-in hybrid Niro can travel up to 26 miles on electric alone before switching seamlessly to conventional hybrid operation. The electric Niro has an EPA estimated range of 239 miles on a single charge. And because of the incompleteness of the reliability data, it is not recorded in our rating of hybrid and electric SUVs.
2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 2021-22
The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid took the high-tech features of the popular 2021 Toyota RAV4 and added a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain. According to EPA estimates, the RAV4 is capable of 41 mpg. The miles I’ve covered in the city are amazing. Its price is 28,500 dollars.





These high-tech vehicles come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense kit. The package includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. An option for a surround-view camera system, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert is available.
In our ranking of hybrid and electric SUVs, the RAV4 Hybrid took third place. It won the award for the best hybrid and electric SUV for 2021 from Al Mal newspaper, and besides being one of the high-tech cars, it is also the best hybrid and electric SUV for families.
Chevrolet Corvette 2021

The new Jeep SUV is equipped with the latest infotainment system, called Uconnect 5. It includes an 8.4-inch touch screen as standard, and another 10.1-inch screen is available. It supports Apple Play and Android Auto wirelessly, and has scored in our midsize SUV rating.
2021 Genesis G80 in 2021
Genesis is the modern luxury arm of Hyundai, and has developed a family of sedans to position it among the high-tech vehicles, offering exceptional value for its quality, performance and features. They’ve redesigned the midsize G80 for 2021, added more technology, and included a host of standard and available feature lists.





The high-tech 2021 Genesis G80 comes as standard with a 14.5-inch touch-screen infotainment system with navigation, support for both phone systems, and a 12-speaker audio setup is standard, and there is an option for a 21-speaker audio system.
Genesis has equipped the G80 with standard and available safety technology. You can outfit your five-seater sedan with a partially automated driving system that can change lanes for you. The available remote parking system does not need you to be in the car to go to the parking spaces. It also ranks third in the midsize luxury car rankings in our ranking.
Chevrolet Spark 2022
Don’t let the fact that the 2022 Chevrolet Spark is so cheap to buy make you think that it doesn’t have high-tech features. It is a high-tech vehicle, and every Spark comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supports both phone systems, and supports a Wi-Fi hotspot on the car. Its price is 13,600 dollars.




With just 98 horsepower emanating from a four-cylinder engine under the hood, the high-tech Spark cars are good for urban dwellers and good for the highway. Most F-150s via the Ford PowerBoost hybrid system blend the power of a twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor to produce 430 horsepower and a whopping 570 pound-feet of torque. It is rated by the Environmental Protection Agency as capable of 24 mpg on the highway and in the city.
The standard Pro Power Onboard technology package can generate up to 7.2 kilowatts of electricity, which you can use to power your home in the event of a power outage. These high-tech vehicles took second place in our full-size pickup truck rankings.
Volvo XC40 in 2021
Although it’s the smallest and least expensive in Volvo’s SUV family, it’s big in terms of high-tech safety features. And it’s not just high-tech cars, it’s the top model in our rating for a small luxury compact SUV and the winner of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) award and a Top Safety Pick+.




Every XC40 comes equipped with Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic High Beam Headlights, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Automatic Emergency Braking. The XC40’s oncoming collision mitigation technology and adaptive headlights are uncommon in this segment.
The XC40 is available with more technologies, including a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control and Volvo’s partially automated Pilot Assist. And there’s even more technology in the XC40’s cabin. All XC40 vehicles are equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Ram 1500 in 2021
Pickups are no longer utilitarian cargo carriers. Models like the 2021 Ram 1500 come loaded with technology to improve fuel economy, increase ride comfort, and guide passengers. The Ram 1500 is not a high-tech vehicle, but rather the highest-rated model among full-size pickup trucks. It sells for $28,450.




Among the many engine options on the Ram is a light-hybrid V8 that produces 395 horsepower. Its electric motor adds 130 pound-feet of torque at launch. Ram’s advanced rear suspension system can be upgraded with four-corner air suspension to improve aerodynamics and provide additional ground clearance for off-road adventures.
You’ll find the latest in Uconnect infotainment systems inside the spacious RAM cabin. It is available in 5, 8.4 and 12 inch touch screens. A 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and a surround-view camera system are available.
Mazda CX-30 in 2021
The 2021 Mazda CX-30 is an affordable compact crossover with an interior that aspires to change the standards of luxury cars. It includes a crisp 8.8-inch infotainment system that’s managed by a rotary console, rather than a touch screen. In addition to this long list of high-tech technologies, Nissan offers Mazda’s Traffic Jam Assist, a low-speed partial automatic steering system that manages steering, braking and acceleration in low-speed traffic. But it doesn’t run at high speeds, and of course it’s not just high-tech cars, it’s got the highest marks in the small SUV rating.
