Engine oil is one of the most important components that help maintain the life span of a car and protect its engine parts from damage, and sometimes some cars are damaged as a result of not meeting deadlines due to their constant need to use maintenance centers.
Through this report, I present to you – dear reader – a set of simple steps that can help you change the engine oil yourself without the help of specialists.
First: The car must be lifted by a “kurik” or a lifting unit
This step is one of the most important steps that help to easily change the engine oil and change the oil filter in the car
Second: The oil cap (the tab) must be removed.
This step may take several minutes, during which the oil filler is removed and the old oil is given the opportunity to descend into the pot, then return the (dip) to its place and seal it well.
Third: Change the oil filter
This step can be done by loosening the filter and then removing it by hand. It is preferable to put a little grease or oil in place of the filter.
Fourth: Putting new oil
In the last step, new oil is applied to its specified mark, then the hood is closed and the car is started.
