An American magazine specialized in the field of car maintenance issued warnings about the necessity of checking the engine oil cap from time to time, especially after the end of the winter season.
It also recommended that the engine oil should be changed immediately, if any deposits tend to green, and the engine cover should be checked again.
As for the reason for these deposits, the American magazine added that the reason for this is the formation of condensed water with oil in the cold operating stages during the winter season, which negatively affects the efficiency of the oil, and thus the safety of the engine.
