Toyota sales in America fell by 23.5 percent in March

Toyota ‘s sales in America fell by 23.5% during the month of March, according to the Toyota Motor Corporation North America, a subsidiary of the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp.

According to the autoevolution website, which specializes in car news, the company’s sales fell during the past month by 23.5% annually to 194,178 cars.
The company’s daily sales declined during the month by 26.3% compared to the same month last year.

Toyota’s total sales of electric cars in the United States during the first quarter of this year amounted to 133,938 cars, an increase of 9.22% over the same period last year, and representing about 8.25% of the company’s total sales during the first quarter.

And last March , Toyota  in the US market amounting to 170,664 cars, a decrease of 22.6 compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, Toyota Group’s Lexus luxury car segment recorded sales of 64,364 cars in the US market during the first quarter of this year, a decline of 13.3 percent annually. And by 6.22% over the same period last year. The sector’s sales during the first quarter of the year as a whole amounted to 450,227 cars, a decrease of 14.9% annually.
