Toyota Crown Hybrid 2023 revealed

The Japanese car maker, Toyota , has revealed its new cars, called the Toyota crown hybrid 2023, before its expected arrival this fall.

Classified as a hybrid sedan, a mid-size sedan with a funky, high-riding sedan body, will replace the Toyota Avalon that stoops after 2022.

The new Crown features a stylish new design, two hybrid options, a standard all-wheel drive system, and a lot of modern technologies and modern capabilities.

Toyota Crown Hybrid 2023

Belonging to luxury full-size sedan models, it has a sleek look, new design and updated foundations with standard all-wheel drive and a power of up to 340 horsepower.

It is offered in 3 different trim levels, XLE, Limited and the more luxurious Platinum trim.

It is scheduled to reach dealerships this fall before the end of 2022 as a 2023 model.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

  • The car’s exterior design appears more elegant, with a higher ride height design and a front grille that takes center stage in the front, adding significant air intake.
  • Featuring front design cues inspired by the BZ4X model with stylish LED headlights and rain-sensing wipers, the car also comes with a stylish two-tone paint option exclusive to the top model.
  • The XLE model rides on 19-inch two-tone aluminum-alloy wheels, while the Platinum model rides on 21-inch 10-spoke wheels with black accents and can be selected on the Limited with the Advanced Tech package.

Interior Design

  • Inside, the new Toyota Crown offers an elegant and simple cabin design that is very similar to Lexus models, as well as comfortable and fairly spacious with glass and soundproofing materials.
  • The latest version of Toyota’s infotainment system is offered with a 12.3-inch touchscreen that dominates the dashboard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless integration.
  • A digital instrument cluster is also available, with a row of physical buttons below the information display for the dual-zone climate control.
  • It comes standard with heated, eight-way power-adjustable front seats wrapped in a combination of black Softex faux leather and textile.
  • While the Limited or Platinum models feature heated and ventilated real leather seats in the front and heated seats for the rear passengers.

ENTERTAINMENT AND FACILITIES

  • As for technology, communication and entertainment, it has a wireless charging pad, several USB ports, and a USB-C port for rear passengers.
  • Plus Wi-Fi for up to five devices with 4G connectivity and an 11-speaker JBL sound system for higher classes.
  • In addition to features such as a panoramic sunroof and LED interior lighting, the Platinum also features an all-view camera and digital key.

Safety and security systems

  • It is worth noting the variety of safety features available to assist the driver, as the car is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes a pre-collision warning system with pedestrian detection, and a blind-spot detection system.
  • As well as adaptive radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, and oncoming cross-traffic alert when cornering through an intersection.

  • The new Toyota Crown will be offered with two hybrid powertrain options, and a standard all-wheel drive system.
  • The hybrid powertrain for the XLE and Limited models combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with three electric motors powered by a new nickel-metal battery, for a combined output of 236 horsepower, 38 mpg combined.
  • It is mated to an eCVT continuously variable gearbox that sends power to the front wheels, and a third electric motor drives the rear wheels.
  • While the Platinum model comes with a new hybrid system (Hybrid Max) that adds more power and torque and improves the response of the powertrain, as it consists of a 2.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine and two electric motors, and there is another electric motor on the rear axle with a capacity of 340 horsepower and 28 mpg combined.
  • It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and the E-Four all-wheel drive system.

Toyota Crown 2023 price

  • Pricing has yet to be confirmed, pricing is being revealed as the sale is approaching, though we expect prices to range between $40,000 and $50,000.
