  • Hood warning:

One of the most important means that some people use during this period in order to protect the car battery from theft is to connect the car alarm button under the hood, which turns on the alarm if the hood is opened strongly.
 

  • Hide the wire for the hood lock:

There is one way that thieves rely on in order to open the engine cover, which is to tighten the “wire”, which is the wire responsible for opening the hood, and this wire is usually behind the front grille or from the opposite direction, which is parallel to the windshield of the car, in both cases it is preferable to protect the “wire” The lock by covering it with a piece of reinforced fiber or aluminum, which puts an obstacle to thieves in opening the hood.
 

  • iron cage:

It is one of the traditional methods that some use to protect the car battery, and this method depends on the design of an iron cage consisting of three or four columns installed at the base of the battery, and it is advised to isolate the iron cage from the battery electrodes to avoid a short circuit.
