Ford has officially announced the date of the unveiling of its all-new Ford Everest, which is scheduled to be revealed on March 1.

The event will be streamed online, on Dearborn’s official channels, and viewers will hear from Chief Platform Engineer Ian Foston and Everest Design Director Max Wolf, who will talk to them about the highlight in the car.
The next generation of Ford Everest

“Our goal from the start has been to deliver the capability of the next generation Ford Everest with a robust exterior design, ” explained Wolff . “Inside, we’ve created a haven with signature dates, where customers can feel comfortable no matter what’s going on outside.”
Besides announcing the date of Everest, Ford also dropped a teaser video, highlighting its versatility. Not only that, but the model’s high-resolution image allows us to preview its design , albeit with a bit of basic editing, and it’s no surprise that it looks very similar to the renders we’ve covered here.

But what exactly is the Ford Everest? In short, it is an SUV with a body on a tire, related to the Ranger. It will be launched in the Asia Pacific region as Everest, in India as Endeavor, and will be moved away from North America, which is a bit disappointing.

It will share many traits with the pickup, including a cockpit that’s expected to echo, with a large infotainment screen and DVD, and beautiful upholstery and finishes on the range-topping versions. And of course drivers should be assisted with the same security and safety equipment as well.

Engine options are still a well-kept secret, but in all likelihood, they may be launched with different units, including the 2.3-liter EcoBoost. It could see the addition of a four-cylinder petrol engine, and there will likely be a choice of two diesel engines, one with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and the second with a 3.0-liter V6.
