- The modifications also included stopping the assembly of the upper and lower structures of the car separately, as was the case in the past; There is even a single body structure (SGP), allowing the suspension to better handle road problems for a smoother ride with less vibration inside the cabin than the previous model.
- The new crossover has an increase in length of 15 mm (0.6 inches) over the previous generation. Subaru Crosstrek 2023 car specifications

EXTERIOR DESIGN
- The car comes with a strong and more solid exterior design that is more in line with the lines of development and provides a smoother ride than its predecessor.
- Compared to its predecessor, the bodyshell has been increased in stiffness and stability using a full inner frame structure evoking that found in the Levorg and WRX.
- It has received quiet, evolutionary aesthetic updates to the exterior design that give the car a distinctive look, with full LED headlights, LED turn signals powered by LED technology, and powerful 18-inch sport wheels.
Interior Design
- When the doors are opened, we can see a more luxurious and quieter design than before and a spacious cabin just as in previous models thanks to new equipment in the interior.
- The latest advanced technology is available. The new infotainment system uses a vertically-oriented 11.6-inch touch-control screen that controls the dashboard used in other Subaru models, along with a vertical touch screen with buttons for adjusting temperature and volume.
- However, it does not have the fully digital instrument panel available on the new WRX and Levorg, as it continues to use the analog dashboard for the speedometer and RPM gauge, with the only digital part being a small multi-information display.
- The modifications also include new, redesigned seats with a modified structure that prevents car swaying movements and reduces vibration to provide better support for the occupants, as well as new materials for better sound suppression inside the cabin.
- In addition, the car received a modified chassis, where the seat rails are attached directly to the body instead of using a strut, which increases rigidity and improves vibration while reducing seat sway.
Safety and security systems
- It is worth noting that it has several enhanced safety systems that include the latest EyeSight security technology from Subaru, and adds a wide-angle monocular camera that allows better recognition of pedestrians and cyclists to allow the start of braking before collision, thanks to the wider field of view.
- With Advance Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Change Assist.
mechanical specifications
- Subaru has not revealed the technical specifications of the engine at the moment, but expectations indicate that the company will develop the e-Boxer setup for the previous generation, a non-extra hybrid model, powered by a 2-liter gasoline engine (2000 cc), with a power of 147 hp and 196 Newton/meter of torque.
- The e-Boxer system places an electric motor between the internal combustion engine with 164 hp and 66 Nm of torque.
- The hybrid powertrain includes a premium-spec 48-volt lithium-ion battery and Lineartronic CVT.
- Modifications have also been made to the ICE engine and transmission to reduce vibration and noise and we will know more about the technical specifications of the car at the beginning of 2023.
How much does a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek cost?
- Subaru has been silent about the price of the new SUV at the moment, and said that this car will be put up for sale first in Japan next year, before heading to other global markets.
