Many people who treat car driving as a hobby, may not be familiar with everything related to vehicles, or the mechanism that you rely on to move or stop; So being ignorant of some of its parts is something that can be annoying to some of them.
Perhaps the transmission is one of the most important components of the car’s actual working mechanism, and therefore many car audiences prefer to follow the latest technologies used in its manufacture, but they are faced with the diversity of terms used to describe its types, such as “automatic” and “step tronic” and Manual, Easytronic, and others.
On the “Mallaky” website, we explain to you the differences between the known types of gearboxes used in the automobile industry.
Manual “manual”
It is the famous and well-known transmission, which relies on a group of gears that move in harmony with two other shafts, allowing the gears to be placed inside the track designated for them, by pressing the third pedal “clutch”.
The driver himself moves the stick of the transmission and inserts the gears into the lane designated for it, according to the speed at which he monopolizes, by using the clutch pedal.
Automatic

It is the gear shifter that takes on half of the tasks of engaging the gears in its designated lane, where the user can move the stick to “D”, “R”, “N” or “P”, to move or reverse or without commands or to stand completely in order, Without much trouble, so that the car takes over the transition between different speeds without human intervention, and starting its movement does not require the regulated process of adjusting the rhythm of the right foot with the left in pressure and height from the “gasoline” and “clutch” pedals.
There are some cars that have child safety buttons that prevent the transmission stick from being moved without pressing it, which prevents children from tampering with it.
Steptronic

It is one of the most modern gearboxes in the world, as it combines the advantages of “manual” and “automatic”. The owner of the car can drive it using the automatic system in sequence between different speeds, or using the manual system, which contains “+” and “-” Near the “D” duct, it is equipped with a zipper that allows the stick to move forward to supply the speed, and then it appears on the screen in the front panel “dashboard”, and it automatically lowers its speed if you use the engine and the car’s speed drops in general.
Easytronic

It is a model of the manual gearbox, but with an automatic color, so that there are options “D +” or “D-“, in addition to “P”, “N” and “R”, so that the driver does not move the stick in specific directions to enter the gears in the raceway customized at all speed.
