Last week, Kia showed off its all-new EV6 electric car, and the company offered a few details to give fans their first glimpse of its low-profile crossover. As a result of the Korean company’s stinginess in presenting the details, we will have to wait another two weeks to scoop on this fully electric car, which Kia announced that it will present in the presentation to be held soon.

Upon its unveiling, Kia will provide a more complete summary of the crossover’s performance specifications and available features. We know that the EV6 will be based on the Hyundai/Kia E-GMP architecture, a scalable platform capable of supporting a range of vehicles from compact cars to mid-size SUVs.
It probably won’t go on sale until late this year or early 2022
The E-GMP (Global Electrical System Modular) architecture is Hyundai Motor Group’s first dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV) platform, with many innovative features. Notable among them is the multi-charging system that supports both 800V high-speed charging and 400V quick charging, and a wide driving range of 500 km or more on an 18-minute charge. According to the company, it is capable of covering a distance of up to 310 miles (498 kilometers); However, this is the maximum range available, but we believe the distance may be less than that.
Kia also offers a V2L (Vehicle Loading) feature, which allows external devices to use the car’s battery as a power source. The common ground of these features is that they all greatly improve the convenience and utility of electric vehicles, providing unprecedented user experiences for their customers.

An introduction to the EV6’s design last week showed a uniquely designed crossover that sits low to the ground. The new Kia introduced a new design language for the brand, ditching the tiger nose design first introduced in 2007.

The car has a fresh and simple face with sweeping headlight units that blend with the front wheel arches above the simple lower grille. A torn windshield and a sloping C-pillar give it a low riding position amplified by the long wheelbase that pushes the wheels into corners.
The most interesting aspect of the Kia EV6’s design is the rear, which features a thin taillight element that extends from the rear. The design starts at the front wheel well with the stylized swing plate, which projects upward directly in front of the rear wheels to form a design line that connects to the taillight. Inside, the EV6 packs the desired dual-screen layout – one for the instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system – a sleek center console, few buttons, and a streamlined interior. Check back in a few weeks for more information.

The new Kia masterpiece looks great with lines, the rear lighting arc ends where your eye takes you to those elegant nickel thresholds covered with some rubber to prevent slipping, and the car looks from the inside as spacious as a home hall with elegant chairs that we will know more about at the end of this month.
