Kia competes with mother Hyundai with the launch of its electric car Kia EV6
Not to be outdone by the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia launched its all-electric Kia EV6 just a few months later, and while the two EV6s share the same platform and have many of the same features, they are very different. Although Kia is affiliated with Hyundai, all of its products are displayed on the Hyundai page in a special section in Kia

We’ve seen a number of reviews of the Kia EV6 over recent weeks, but this curious review from Autogefühl was particularly insightful and more comprehensive than most others. If you’re looking for an electric vehicle and you’re fascinated by the EV6, it’s worth watching the full review. It is a strange review for us that confidently confirms that the electric Kia is the best electric car on the market, although it is in the list of electric cars for 2022 that did not come first, and you can review our list from here .
The example in this review is the GT-Line model with a larger 77.4 kWh battery pack, although customers can also order the EV with a smaller 58 kWh battery.
The Kia EV6GT-Line also has a single electric motor, installed in the rear.

The exterior of the Kia EV6 is very exciting, and while the Ioniq 5 has a design inspired by the past
, the Kia EV6 looks more futuristic .
It’s also more aerodynamically efficient than Hyundai, which may be important to those looking to get as much range as possible.
The EV6’s interior is also different from Hyundai’s and is a bit more traditional, although that’s not a bad thing.
Among the main cabin features are a dual-control steering wheel, a large digital instrument cluster and an adjacent infotainment screen.
While driving down the street, the reviewer notes that the EV6 looks a lot like the Ioniq 5 but notes that if he had to choose between the two, he’d choose Kia.
