The German Automobile Club AVD has provided a set of tips that must be adhered to when operating the car air conditioner in the summer and during the high temperature, to avoid exposing the car and the people in it to any dangers.
Among the most important of these tips are:
1- German experts warned against operating the air conditioner in the car at its maximum capacity, so as not to lead to weak engine torque, in addition to increasing the car’s fuel consumption.
2- They also pointed out the necessity of not directing cold air to the body; To avoid exposure to any health problems such as headaches and colds, in addition to blurring and burning eyes caused by dry eyes as a result of exposure to cold air for a long time.
3- German experts recommended that the difference between the air-conditioning temperatures and the outside temperature should not exceed 6 to 10 degrees as a maximum, to avoid exposing the body to any circulatory problem.
4- As for the ideal temperature of the car air conditioner, they recommended that it range between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius.
