The automatic gearbox is one of the finest mechanical inventions that appeared in the last century, and until very recently I did not know what was inside the automatic gearbox, but after what I read about it I was amazed at what others had reached in progress and regretted our situation.
The automatic gearbox is a very complex mechanical system, but it depends mainly on one set of gears called the planetary gear train. It is actually similar to the astronomical system, where there is a gear called the sun gear that rotates freely around it, a gear called the planet gear, and the group is contained within a third gear that is toothed inward. The different gears work by determining which of these gears rotates and which is fixed. In order for this system to work, these three gears are served by a large group of clutches, belts and hydraulic pistons, all of which are located inside the gearbox. The movement is transmitted from the motor to the gearbox through a fan driven by the motor, which in turn turns the oil that runs a small turbine that transfers the movement to the gearbox, and the two known types of automatic gearbox differ only in the sensor for the timing of the shift and the control system in the old types. The reference to transmission is by oil pressure, and in modern types, the control is transferred to an electronic system, but the basis of the gearbox that we explained at the beginning remains the same.
The automatic gearbox is basically built to limit human interference in the process of driving the car, and therefore the chance of it breaking down as a result of poor driving is very few, but with that there are simple tips for the automatic gearbox:
1- Always look for any leakage of the gear oil: the color of the automatic oil is red, if you find it under The car must check the reason so that the gearbox does not empty and lead to its destruction, God forbid.
2- All automatic gearboxes contain an oil gauge, check it from time to time, noting that the automatic gearbox oil is measured while the engine is running, unlike engine oil that is only measured when the engine is turned off
. Do not move the stick to the rear speed or from the rear speed to the front speed except and the Arabic is in a state of complete stop
4. Do not try to order you in Arabic by pressing gasoline on top of the other and then moving the gearbox from N to D, this is enough to bomb Omar Al-Fetees
5- If the car catalog does not say otherwise, change the automatic gearbox oil every 30,000 km.
