The necessary steps to clean the car engine

Protect and prepare the engine before cleaning

Disconnect the battery

Degrease the engine
. The degreaser must be placed on the car engine, as we spray the degreaser on the grease from the bottom up, and there are many types available to choose from.
. It is noted that the grease should be avoided on the painted parts, in order not to remove the transparent layer of the paint.
. The degreaser should be left on the engine for 3 to 5 minutes, then pour water on the engine.

. After rinsing the engine, the car should be washed with water and a sponge to ensure that any traces of degreaser are removed.

Clean the engine components
by using a wire brush on the battery terminals, as they are exposed to corrosion, which leads to problems in the car’s electrical system, so it must be cleaned and the metal color of the terminals appears.
Baking soda is added to a container with water on the battery acid, which is rubbed with a brush to rub the battery terminals, with a sponge on the plastic parts, including the tank covers, and the engine.
Brake cleaner is used to clean the dirty deposits, this is done by inserting the tube into the brake cleaner nozzle and using a hard brush to scrub the dirt, then spraying it again with brake cleaner to rinse it.
