Auto transmission oil, manual and automatic… It is better to change it or supply it

Manual and automatic transmission oil....it is better to change it or supply it

Transmission oil is one of the most important factors that maintain the life span of a car engine, and protect it from the wear of its parts due to heat and friction.

And about the necessity of changing this oil, many car maintenance specialists disagreed about this matter. There are those who think changing this oil is necessary, and there are those who think that it can be supplied without causing damage to the gearbox parts in the car.

And between this and that stands a lot of motorists perplexed.

The answer of the German Technical Examination Authority confirms the necessity of changing the gearbox oil in manual and automatic cars, and the reason for this is due to the fact that the continuous use of the oil loses its properties, and therefore it is wrong to supply it, but rather it must be changed from the ground up so that the properties of each part are similar to the other.

When should the gearbox oil be changed in the car?

Specialists advise that the gearbox oil should be changed in the car after traveling a distance of between 40,000 to 60,000 km in the event of driving in crowded cities, and it is also recommended to change it after traveling a distance of 40,000 km in the event of driving on highways.
