Summer is one of the seasons in which cars suffer a lot. The heat of the air affects the tires on which they are running. Hot asphalt undoubtedly affects the life and quality of those tires.
The engine is greatly affected by the temperature of the atmosphere, and the water in the coolant may not benefit it greatly in treating that heat, in addition to the car body itself, which is affected by the scorching heat of the sun.
In this context, one of the car experts, Mohamed Al-Shanhabi, director of the Brilliance Agency Service Center, offers some tips to maintain the car before the summer season and high temperatures, which lead to damage to some parts of the car.
Before watching the video, you should listen to the following tips:-
- As we mentioned, car tires get damaged with the summer and the scorching heat, which is why you must choose a suitable shape for those tires, a good type that tolerates heat, and not providing them with air to a large extent, as it is known that the heat works to expand those tires.
At that point, you should check the tires periodically, and make sure they are always good.
- Changing the motor oil and filter two thousand kilos ahead of time. In the summer, you have to take into account that the oil becomes much less dense, as the heat works as if it were a heater that transforms it from a liquid state to a vapor state, or at least converting it to a lower density.
- We are still with the car engine, as cooling the car in that season is difficult, and almost impossible, with always high heat. Please check the cooling cycle constantly and choose the water needed to dispel the high temperature index.
- Whoever owns an air conditioner in the car, he must check the air conditioning and make sure that the filter is valid to prevent dust from entering through it.
- One of the mechanical components that are most affected when the car is driven in hot weather conditions are the spark plugs, which should always be checked periodically to avoid any malfunctions while driving or the car breaking down while driving in the noon heat.
