Mercedes SL 2023 Standard car
- The Mercedes- AMG SL 2023 belongs to the high-performance coupe sedan class, and it comes with a lot of good things, the most important of which are the active aerodynamics and bold design cues.
- Speaking of the new F1 technology, it is that the car’s engine uses an electric exhaust gas turbocharger (MGU-H), the charger is powered by a 48-volt electric system that feeds the belt-driven generator (RSG).
- This means that the electric motor spins the turbine at lower engine speeds until there is enough exhaust pressure to wind it like a normal turbo would, allowing for improved engine response and efficiency to recover energy.
- A technology derived from AMG Formula 1 cars to fill the gap between a small supercharger and a supercharged supercharger, it is the first production car with a turbocharged engine of this type.
