Driving a car causes many unusual stresses on the arms and upper body, there are some tips to help you drive more safely with less aches and pains.
First adjust your driving space
1- Sit upright and sit well on the seat by raising or lowering the seat so that you can clearly see both the road and the tools, your knees should be flat Use a seat wedge (available at auto stores) if you are too low .
2- Move the seat forward or backward so that you can fully depress the pedal without taking your back off the seat.
3- Adjust the angle of the seat again it should be tilted from the vertical position by only 10 to 20 degrees.
4- Move the headrest so that it is in the middle of your head. The center of the headrest should be close to the tops of your ears.
5- Make sure the headrest is fully locked in place.
6- Tilt the seat cushion.
7- Move the steering wheel down toward you until you can rest your hands comfortably on the steering wheel with your wrists straight.
8- Remove your wallet from your back pocket, as it causes your body to move while driving.
9- Adjust your side mirrors Put your head on the right side of the window and adjust the driver side mirror so that you can only see the right rear corner of the car and do the same steps on the other side so that the mirrors are set to the left side so that you can see only the left rear corner.
10- Avoid placing anything under the seats as things can easily slide forward under the pedals.
Then do the cleaning and deodorizing process
If you have spilled some foul-smelling fluid inside the car or if something has fallen on the seats, first blot up the excess moisture with a paper towel and then pick up the dried remains (if any).
Sprinkle baking soda on the affected area and leave it to absorb any odors for an hour or so before vacuuming.
