The safest car in the world

Top 10: The safest car in the world

List of the ten safest car seekers of 2020 .. Names are not an option

When choosing one of the safest cars of 2020, savvy shoppers consider more than just the star ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). You also want to check ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety ( IIHS ), consider standard Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS), and get a car that weighs more, not less.

This alphabetically arranged list of the top 10 safety cars of 2020 represents these factors. Each of these mainstream models weigh at least 3,000 pounds, and most feature ADAS useful as standard equipment in the base trim level. Meaning it’s not in the special editions, in addition, we’ve only picked cars that received the IIHS Top Safety Pick rating,

All of our selected cars must have scored highly in crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (NHTSA). And we reiterate that we have chosen the cars according to the alphabetical classification and according to their English name, not Arabic. The choice of the year is also due to the availability of data and the passing of all the tests.

Honda Accord 2020 (all except sightseeing)

2020 Honda Accord.jpg
Kick versions of the Honda Accord are safer except for the Touring version not tested

It’s one of America’s most popular cars, and it’s also one of the safest cars of 2020. Every version of the Honda Accord includes Honda Sensing, a suite of technology tools known as ADAS that helps drivers avoid collisions. It’s the safest car.

Among the safest cars, the Accord excels in NHTSA crash tests, and all versions — except for the Touring model — earned a Top Safety Pick rating in 2019. Apparently, these full LED headlights aren’t as effective as the low-beam LEDs and halogen headlights. High is included with other agreements.

Prices start at about $25,000, and you can also get a hybrid version of this roomy car rated for 48 mpg in shared driving. That is, on the highways and within the city.

2020 Honda Insight EX and Touring

Smaller than the Accord, but the 2020 Honda Insight is a four-door sedan based on the Honda Civic. With a hybrid powertrain, which includes a battery pack and co-motor, the Honda Insight weighs in at no less than 3,000 pounds in the EX and Touring trim levels. (The Insight LX has a cut-off weight of 13 lbs.)

This efficient and safe vehicle earns 5-star ratings in every NHTSA crash test assessment, and the IIHS calls every trim a Top Safety Pick+ in 2019. It simply doesn’t get any better than that when it comes to safety ratings. Each trim level also includes Honda Sensing ADAS, which helps you avoid collisions in the first place, which makes it the safest car.

2020 Kia Optima SX Safer

Kia Abutima is one of the safest cars

This is the last year for the current version of the Kia Optima, and only the sporty, turbocharged SX level qualifies thanks to its premium LED headlights. This resulted in a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS in 2019, matching NHTSA’s 5-star ratings in all but one of the ratings. But it is still the safest car.

Other versions of the Optima are also safe, but they have lower-rated headlights, according to IIHS. A full range of ADAS is standard on every Optima, as well as Blind Spot Warning with Rear Cross Traffic Warning, which are usually options on other models. So, we excluded the other models.

Optima SX prices start at around $33,000, and this version of the car is really fun to drive. If you can live with the bad headlights included in the car, seriously, the rest of the Optima lineup starts at around $24,250.

2020 Kia Stinger GT1 and GT2 are safer

One of the safest and most rugged cars

Speaking of fun, the very cool Kia Stinger is completely safe in GT1 and GT2 models. These versions come with full LED headlights and ADAS, earning a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS in 2019. But NHTSA has not performed crash tests on the Kia Stinger.

The Kia Stinger is a 5-door hatchback with attractive design and twin-turbocharged performance to match, an often overlooked gem. The vehicle is rear-wheel drive unless you specify the optional all-wheel drive system, and both the rear seat and luggage carrier are roomy. Think of this as a half-price Porsche Panamera, and the price wouldn’t be far from reality.

GT1 prices start around $46,500. If you can live without ADAS and the brighter headlights, get the GT-Line (just over $34,000) which is a turbocharged four-cylinder.

Mazda 6 – 2020

It is the most elegant and safe Mazda 6 with its many technologies

We’re still with the safest car—and show us the sleek Mazda6, it’s another often overlooked car, and it’s not your typical family sedan. Sharply designed with advanced technology and satisfying performance, the Mazda6 is a luxury car in every way except for its brand name.

In Grand Touring Reserve and turbocharged truck levels, the Mazda6 earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS in 2019, thanks to its superior headlights. The rest of the other versions of the car qualify for the best safety rating with acceptable headlight performance. Meanwhile, NHTSA gives each version of the Mazda 6 a 5-star rating in all but two individual reviews.

Prices start from about $ 25,000, with the highest rating of the reserve in safety and of course, under the patronage of God, but the large tourist version may have a price of approximately $ 33,500.

2020 Nissan Maxima is safer

You look more beautiful in white than red

With its Top Safety Pick rating for all versions of the 2020 Maxima, Nissan’s sporty four-door makes the Maxima forget-me-not in our list of the 10 safest cars. But NHTSA hasn’t done crash tests on the latest Maxima.

Priced at more than $35,000, every Maxima version is equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of ADAS, which includes front and rear automatic brakes as well as blind-spot warning. That’s fine, because it’s hard to see what’s outside this car. But don’t worry, it’s the safest car.

Equipped with a powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine with 300 horsepower, and featuring a refined interior, the Maxima makes a good impression of a luxury sports sedan. But so is the case with the Kia Stinger and Mazda Mazda 6. And they are all safer.

Subaru Legacy 2020

Spitters Leadtsy has betrayed her fans and they appreciate it

Redesigned for 2020 and built on a new platform that features a significant improvement in structural protection already legendary in Subaru, the all-new Legacy is truly a must-drive if you’re looking for the safest car you can buy.

Adaptive LED headlights with rotating steering technology are included in the Limited, Limited XT, and Touring XT trim, earning the vehicle an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating for the New Year 2019. Other versions have tolerably-operated full LED headlights, according to IIHS. The NHTSA did not test for legacy at the time of writing this article.

All trim levels for the 2020 Legacy include the company’s EyeSight suite from ADAS as standard equipment, and every Legacy is equipped with all-wheel drive. And other technical components that made it among the safest cars, prices start at less than 23,750 dollars.

2020 Subaru Impreza Limited

2020 Subaru Impreza blue driving.jpg
Blue for Subaru lovers and lovers of this color

It’s the safest car thanks to its standard all-wheel drive system, matched to the compact 2020 Impreza that in most versions weighs more than 3,000 pounds, all of which receive 5-star ratings across the board from NHTSA. But only the Impreza Limited comes with steering-responsive LED headlights that result in a Top Safety Pick+ rating for 2019 from IIHS.

Other trims include marginal-rated headlights, except for these Top Safety Pick lights.

The 2020 Subaru Impreza is available in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback body models, each Impreza fitted with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with EyeSight, ADAS’ Subaru wing. The Limited comes exclusively with a CVT.

Impreza Limited prices start at less than $26,750. Basic versions are available with CVT and EyeSight for less than $21,000.

Subaru WRX Basic 2020

For all Subaru lovers, this car is safer

The Impreza is not only the safest car, as Subaru offers another safe WRX, and the 2020 Subaru WRX is an icon among driving enthusiasts, it is fast, capable and exciting to drive. It is also very spacious inside and very safe.

The trick to getting the WRX to be safe comes down to this limited-edition design paired with CVT brake technology, along with those improved high-beam headlights. These are the only specifications included in the Subaru range including EyeSight technology that made it up to ADAS safety, it’s the only specification that meets IIHS requirements for a Top Safety Pick+ rating. The headlights on the basic and premium trim levels are poor, and the WRX versions with a manual gearbox come with EyeSight.

If those authorizations are good to you, the WRX Limited with CVT and Option Package costs less than $37,500.
