Tips to ensure the safety and integrity of car tires

Malaki website gives you some guidelines to ensure the safety and safety of car tires during a long period of suspension due to their owners traveling abroad for summer vacations…. Whereas Qatar Standard No. 581/2007 states:
“A new or used vehicle that has been parked for more than two weeks must be moved without use for short distances with adjusting the tire air pressure at the recommended storage pressure so that tire spurs do not occur as a result of exposure to the contact part of the tires. For the ground (the tread) for the weight of the car for long periods that may lead to damage, explosion or cracking of the tires, while adhering to the correct way to store the tires attached to the car received from the car manufacturer.
The affairs of laboratories and standardization call upon owners of agencies and car showrooms to abide by what is contained in this aforementioned specification, which will have a profound impact on achieving the safety and safety of citizens and residents and reducing the incidence of traffic accidents that occur as a result of tire damage.
Laboratories and Standardization Affairs also recommends some other instructions in this regard, such as:
Not storing the vehicle in an open or public place so as not to be affected by weather factors.
Fill the tires to an appropriate pressure while raising the vehicle, so as not to flatten the side of the tire touching the ground.
As for the fuel, it is withdrawn from the “tank” fuel tank through a long hose until it reaches its depth, and after closing the tank, the car is operated until the rest of the fuel runs out and the engine is turned off, as the remaining oil inside the tank results in the deposition of impurities, which affects the efficiency of the vehicle parts.
The radiator water must be emptied so as not to accelerate the rust of the vehicle.
For engine oil: It is preferable to fill the engine to the maximum extent with oil in order to maintain the “viscosity” of the moving parts at the top of the engine.
The battery and all auxiliary electrical and electronic devices in the vehicle must be disconnected, empty of distilled water and stored in a dry and dark place.
