The “Cadillac” brand of General Motors of America revealed the SUV XT4 for the year 2024 (Cadillac XT4 2024), its smallest multi-use vehicle, with mid-life updates.
Cadillac’s smallest luxury crossover, the car has received some necessary updates in order to stay competitive. It was unveiled for the first time globally in 2018 as the 2019 model year.

The updated Cadillac XT4 2024
It belongs to the category of luxury small SUV sports cars, it got a new, sharper exterior design and a significantly renovated interior that adds a 33-inch Lyriq screen with many new technologies and other updates to the appearance inside and out.
This renewed car is offered in three classes with a variety of equipment, the standard version will be a luxury class, a half-size car will be premium luxury, and a full option will be sport.
Updated 2024 Cadillac XT4 specifications
Exterior design
- Visually, the car has a sharper and more modern exterior, which enhances the car’s aggressive character and has higher roof beams.
- It also features a new grille design in the Cadillac Chevron pattern, where the Premium Luxury class has a glossy black grille, and the Sport class comes with a unique front and dark exterior accents.
- Updates to the XT4’s front fascia include new, narrower, vertically mounted LED headlamps in the corners and a revised array of LED daytime running lights.
- The rear side, in turn, witnessed a change in the position of the horizontal reflectors to become vertical ones, and from the sides, new options of 18- and 20-inch wheel designs were provided.
- It will be difficult to differentiate between the 2024 model and the previous model, as it retains the same general shape as the old model.
- Cadillac is introducing three new paint colors, including Emerald Lake Metallic, Midnight Sky Metallic and Deep Sea Metallic.
Interior Design
- The small crossover got a complete redesign of the cabin with a new screen in harmony with the new interior design of the car and many touch controls, after abandoning the old design full of buttons.
- Cadillac has added a 33-inch, 9K-resolution Curved Surface Touchscreen that extends to the top of the center console. The new screen serves as the car’s infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, and control center.
- One of the key improvements on the facelifted XT4 is the new screen, inspired by the screen used in the all-electric Escalade and Lyriq.
- The new screen provides a large number of new features that can be controlled either through direct touch, voice commands or hand gestures, as well as through a rotating disc located near the gearshift lever that provides additional functions for the infotainment system.
- It plays the same Lyriq interface with a configurable gauge cluster and built-in Google services, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and buyers can upgrade with a 13-speaker AKG Studio sound system.
- At the same time, new color options were provided for the seats, with the ability to choose new designs of decoration, including wood, aluminum or carbon fiber. A cold weather package is also available, which includes heating for the seats and steering wheel.
- 5G connectivity and an electric tailgate are available in all classes, and a seat ventilation and massage system is available for higher classes.
Security and safety systems
- The car is equipped with a generous list of advanced safety features and the latest driver assistance systems, most notably blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alerts and park assist.
- Also, emergency braking and braking for pedestrians and cyclists in front, lane keeping assist, automatic high beam control, lane departure alert, rear seat belt reminder and many other safety features.
- On request, the Active Safety package, available as an optional extra for higher-spec grades, includes adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, rear pedestrian alerts, speed limit assist, traffic sign recognition, a high-resolution surround view camera, and more.
Mechanical specifications
- In terms of mechanical specifications, the American crossover is still offered with a four-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of two liters (2000 cc), equipped with a turbocharger, from previous models, producing 235 horsepower and 350 Newton / meter (258 lb / ft) of torque.
- The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and is available with two drivetrain options. It sends power to either the front wheels or all four wheels.
- And it comes with start/stop and cylinder deactivation to improve fuel economy.
The price of the 2024 Cadillac XT4
- Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac XT4 has yet to be announced . Cadillac will release pricing closer to its launch date, but the updated sports car likely won’t land much higher than the 2023 model’s $37,490,000 price tag.
- The XT4 will go on sale at Cadillac dealerships this summer as the 2024 model year.
