The first appearance of the Cadillac XT4 Facelift

A group of spy shots of the latest version of the Cadillac XT4 model with Facelift updates (Cadillac XT4) was spotted while it was being tested on public roads disguised under camouflage in Morgantown, West Virginia in America, after its global debut in 2018 as a 2019 model.

It is one of the luxury crossover cars of the Cadillac brand of General Motors. The car underwent a recent update, during which it received some changes, aesthetic updates and new technology.

Cadillac’s refreshed XT4 crossover features a more refined face, an all-new front fascia design with a revised grille and a suite of advanced technologies, which we’ll learn about throughout this report.

Cadillac XT4 Facelift

It is a five-door crossover, which received significant improvements to the exterior design, as spy lenses were spotted, which represent our first look at what the updated model will be like.

Cadillac XT4 facelift specs

• The Cadillac XT4 has received improvements that make the exterior design look more upscale, especially on the all-new front end with new headlights and a modified grille that has become wider and slimmer.
• The camo crossover looks similar to the XT4 prototypes we’ve seen before, and the images give us a more detailed look at what’s in store for the XT4’s front styling, despite the exterior camouflage on the hood and fenders.
• The biggest and most obvious change appears in the front, where the car has a new front end that includes new headlights that have been repositioned somewhat, as the main headlights have been moved down inside the front end, to the place previously occupied by the front air curtains, which have been relocated. Move it to the outer edges of the vertical directional DRL drive.
• Although it’s similar to the current XT4, it’s split up in two levels, with a slender horizontal cluster of lights at the upper end of the front fascia that extends into contact with the grille and a cluster of vertically positioning daytime running lights (DLRs).
• But the hood appears to bulge more gently in the middle, in contrast to the sharp lines of the old model, with DLO window trims, longitudinal roof rails, and body-coloured door handles.
• Speaking of the grilles, the gloss black upper grille is now wider, slimmer and sharper than the current model, similar to the one on the Cadillac XT6.
• It also features an all-new lower grille that is now more prominent than before, with a more pronounced entrance, to give the car a more luxurious and graceful touch.
• Moving back, previous spy shots show that the rear fascia and tail lights are almost identical to the current model, as we can see the familiar L-shaped tail lights at the corners of the rear fascia.
• The trapezoidal exhaust tips will apparently continue as well, which means most of the XT4 Facelift’s visual updates are made at the front end.
• However, the lower part of the rear fascia appears to extend lower than it was before.
• The crossover will ride on all-new attractive gray multi-spoke wheels that appear to have a diameter of 20 inches.

Interior Design

• According to what was previously monitored in some spy shots, the interior changes will be the largest, as the interior will be deeply modernized, and the crossover will get advanced technologies from the company’s larger cars, such as the Escalade and Lyric.
• In terms of the entertainment side, you will get a new giant curved screen that occupies most of the dashboard, completely different from the one used in the current model, but it evokes those found in the Cadillac Escalade and Lyric, which includes both the central entertainment system screen and the digital instrument panel in one horizontal display. .
• One spy shot of the interior showed a digital cockpit that extends across the dashboard in the same way it’s presented in the Cadillac Escalade and Lyric.
• Additionally, the Cadillac XT4 will offer Super Cruise, which means it will have the luxury brand’s advanced semi-autonomous driver assistance system.

Mechanical specifications

• As for power, no changes will be made to the engine. The updated Cadillac XT4 is expected to stick to a 2-liter (2000cc) I4 four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, with 237 hp (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Torque without noticeable mechanical changes as reports suggest.
• It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to either the front wheels as standard or to all four wheels via an optional all-wheel drive system.
• The 2-liter engines will also be available in the US and the 2-liter turbodiesel will also be available in Europe.

Cadillac XT4 facelift price

• Cadillac has kept a lid on the price of the updated crossover for now, and hasn’t set an official unveiling date for the facelifted XT4, but it should soon be offered and sold as a 2024 model year.
