Expect the launch of the new SUV Land Cruiser in 2022. Will Toyota do it and launch its hidden hotel
Toyota ‘s efforts to keep the next generation Land Cruiser hidden from the public have failed. Spy footage has revealed the massive SUV Land Cruiser in all its glory, showing a familiar model with many modifications to the design and the current model.
So far, the photos and videos have not been of the highest quality, which makes it difficult to notice the design details, but the new renderings help focus the new Land Cruiser model .

Unofficial renderings come from Kolesa’s website, and they show that the new Land Cruiser maintains its boxy, off-road look, although Toyota ranks it with some noticeable design changes. The overall appearance has become more luxurious, some have even described it as the new hotel, and in its new look, the Land Cruiser features a new and elegant front end with a U-shaped opening below the new face frame. The headlights are sleeker too, with the fog lights relocated to the lower bumper corners.
The designs also show a Toyota with thicker fenders, accentuated by sharper body creases. The rear is still very different from the current Land Cruiser. But the coil often features the new design taillights, but the rear is still very long and straight. While the lower bumper features a new design, the red markings under the canopy have been moved. Along the side, there’s a more pronounced curvature at the back of the greenhouse, which we’ve seen recently appearing on other makes and models.
The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser has an $85,665 starting price. That’s higher than the starting prices of most rivals

We haven’t yet seen the redesigned interior, and how the cabin was designed, although technical drawings revealed last month offered an idea of what to expect. The new Land Cruiser will get a new interior with a redesigned instrument panel. The infotainment screen will sit above the vents and other controls, unlike the current model which has vents surrounding the center display. Analog gauges will continue, although the instrument cluster will feature a large digital display.
Rumors suggest that the base model will get a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, with a hybrid version also available. We expect to launch the new Toyota Land Cruiser in 2022.
