Mercedes is a German global automotive brand and a subsidiary of Daimler. Mercedes-Benz is known for its luxury vehicles, vans, trucks, buses and ambulances, with its headquarters in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The brand debuted in 1926, and in 2018 Mercedes-Benz was the best-selling luxury car brand in the world with around 2.31 million vehicles sold.
Mercedes is preparing to launch the new generation of the C-Class in the market next June, but it has not yet revealed the prices.
The German company explained that it has increased the features of the sporty design of the new saloon car through the so-called power domes on the hood of the engine compartment and the Mercedes star on the radiator grille, and steering the rear axle, and the length of the car increased by about 7 cm to reach 4.75 meters.
This is reflected in the significantly increased wheelbase length of 2.5 cm on the interior space, especially the shoulder and headroom.
The new car received cockpit services borrowed from its sister, the luxury S-Class, and a large screen behind the steering wheel and a screen between the center console and the central tunnel.
In terms of propulsion, the car is available with a range of petrol and diesel engines covering a power range from 125 kW/170 hp in the C 180 to 195 kW/265 hp in the C 300 d.
The car is also available with 48-volt mild hybrid drive models and Plug-in hybrid drive versions, which have a range of 100 km, and the Daimler group company is also planning to launch a Combi version of the car.
