Important tips to protect your car from theft

Important tips offered by the Automotive Division of the Chamber of Commerce for car owners to secure their cars after the increase in car thefts . Security sources estimated the number of cars that were stolen during that period at about 13,000 cars nationwide.
The tips are: –

1. To equip the car with an alarm device and to close the steering wheel by turning it to the far right or left.
2. Make sure to equip the car with a magic key that prevents the car from starting and no one knows where it is but you.
3. Use steering wheel lock, it will not prevent theves but at least will make them find another easy victim.
4. Do not leave the car on the street as much as possible and put it in a garage, especially if you live in one of the remote areas.
5. Do not leave the car for anyone to “park” it, and do not leave the key to one of the garage employees.
6. Do not put any documents related to the car inside it, such as the purchase contract, car license, or any other important documents.
7. To insure the vehicle against the risk of theft, accidents or damage during demonstrations.
8. Keep a copy of the driver’s license and driver’s license in case of any emergency and keep any copies of the car key in a safe place out of the hands of children.
