Shinji Aoyama also indicated via a video call, that there is a third medium-sized platform, as he described it, and announced that it is in partnership with General Motors, and work on it will start from 2027.
It is noteworthy that both companies (HONDA- General Motors) said earlier that they will work jointly to develop electric cars at an affordable cost during the production process within the global car markets.

Oyama also stated that the upcoming electric cars have not been determined whether they will depend on the engineering of General Motors factories, or the HONDA factories, but he announced that the bill for the manufacturing process would be shared at the time, in order to enable the production of cars in either of the two companies’ factories.
Oyama said that HONDA has announced that it has agreed to use the Ultium battery (the second generation from General Motors), although not all of its specifications have been finalized.
It is noteworthy that Honda Motors had stated earlier, that it plans to produce 2 million electric cars worldwide by 2030, including cars of mid-size models that it is developing in partnership with General Motors.
