Honda unveiled its new sedan, the 2023 Honda Civic, which is one of the Japanese brand’s most prominent and best-selling cars in the markets.

The previous year, 2022, the car got a complete redesign, and for this year, it didn’t get any significant changes.

• In its new generation, the car has an elegant and impressive exterior design, with touches that give it a more powerful distinctive appearance.

• Notably, the well-equipped EX version on the sedan model comes with many additional features such as a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated exterior mirrors, and heated front seats.

• The new sedan comes with a generous list of driver-assistance features, most notably: adaptive cruise control with lane-keep assistance, monitoring of any deviations, and lane departure warning.
• With more desirable options available such as standard automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring and more.

Mechanical specifications

• Honda decided to carry over the powertrain options from the previous generation car, where you can choose between two four-cylinder engines.
• The Japanese sedan has a 1.5-liter (1,500 cc) turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 180 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque.
• The turbocharged sedan accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds.
• Another option available in some markets is a four-cylinder, two-liter, naturally aspirated engine that produces 158 hp and 187 Nm of torque.
• Both options are linked to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), which is the only option available after cutting out the six-speed manual transmission offered on the previous generation of the car, and it depends on the front-wheel drive system only.
