Common mistakes while driving increase fuel consumption

Sometimes some people think that the distance they travel is the only fuel consumption, and on this basis the remaining fuel in the car is calculated according to the number of kilometers.
But of course this is not true.
There are some common and wrong habits committed by some while driving, which increase the rate of car fuel consumption.

These errors are:

  • Quick start:

Car experts warn against this habit, as starting the car at a high speed increases the fuel consumption rate by 45% during the first kilometer, and 25% during the second kilometre.

  • Violent driving

It means accelerating car changes, which leads to a reduction of fuel by 40 centimeters in the fuel tank. Therefore, experts advise giving the car’s engine the full opportunity to reach the desired speed smoothly.

  •  High RBM Index  :

One of the factors that leads to increased fuel consumption, experts also emphasize that cars consume less fuel in the case if the RBM counter  ranges between 3000 to 3500 rpm, which in turn maintains the engine.

  •  Excessive use of conditioner:

Excessive use of air conditioning, especially on highways, increases fuel consumption by about 1 liter per 100 km.
