What will the next Dodge muscle car look like
Dodge has announced that it will soon offer an electric muscle car under what it calls an eMuscle. The new Dodge EV will launch in 2024, and the Detroit automaker gave us a look at what a new car’s front end could look like, look and feel appropriately old.
It is not yet clear whether this new Dodge Electric EV will be an electric version of the two-door Challenger or the four-door Charger. Dodge has put the Fratzog logo (pictured attached to its statement), a model it used in the 1960s and 1970s, on the grille, and Dodge says its use is “a nod to the future, which will bring about another great age for cars – the era of the electrified muscle car.”
Dodge has made a video clip provided by Tim Kuniskis to present an electric muscle car coming from Dodge, similar to a short documentary, in which he presents a visualization of that car. Meanwhile, Stellantis, the parent company of Dodge, has announced that it has four dedicated electric vehicle platforms, three of which are Uniframes that offer 300 to 500 miles of driving range. We expect the new electric muscle car to use its large STLA platform, which promises a range of up to 500 miles.
We’ll be keeping track of more details about Dodge’s electric future soon, and we could also see hybrid models added to the automakers’ lineup as well. Jeep and Ram also announced their electrification plans today. Of course, we won’t ask about the price until we see the shape and what the upcoming Dodge muscle car will look like .
