You’ll notice the electric motor’s whine more than you will in most competitors, especially when you’re cruising around town, but at high speed it’s muffled. And you won’t find much wind noise, and less road noise than the competition, with the exception of the Citroën e-C4 and e-208.
And when searing, you’ll find they cut well. You’ll hardly hear a whine from the engine, even with the most aggressive regenerative braking mode engaged. The upper part of the brake pedal travel is difficult to adjust, so it needs fine driving. It offers one-pedal driving like the most advanced and most expensive cars.

You can increase and decrease the effectiveness of the regenerative braking and I found that the brakes are much less powerful than the C4 and the Peugeot E208, and the regenerative braking system does not affect them, recharging the battery as you slow down, but you can stop easily. I also found it not powerful enough to allow for “one-pedal” driving (the Nissan Leaf only allows you to stop by lifting the accelerator).
