Engine Parts

The engine is the source of power to move the vehicle and operate other systems. The engine burns fuel (usually gasoline, or diesel) to generate heat, which leads to the expansion of gases, and the increase in pressure, causing movement of the parts.
Since the engine burns fuel inside itself, it is called the internal combustion engine. The parts and their placement inside the engine contribute to controlling the energy emitted by burning the fuel. The engine consists of the following parts:
1- The engine block (block), the part that contains and carries the engine parts
2- The cylinders, which are inside the engine block for the pistons to move inside
2- The piston, which moves inside the engine block (cylinder) up and below
3- piston rings, knitting the clearance between the cylinder wall and piston sides
4- connecting rod, connecting the piston with the crankshaft
5- The crankshaft, which converts the reciprocating movement (up and down) of the piston into a circular motion
6- The cylinder head, which is mounted on top of the engine block and contains valves
7- Valves, open and close to control the entry of a charge The fuel, air and exhaust gases exit from the combustion chamber
8- The combustion chamber, which is the vacuum formed above the piston and under the cylinder head for combustion to take place within it.
9- The cam shaft opens the valves at the appropriate time
10- The valve spring , the process of closing the valve
11. Sir timing (timing belt), the camshaft manages half the speed of rotation of the engine
