Ford is preparing to launch a new model, the Ford Maverick Pickup 2022, in the first half of this June, after launching the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning pickup truck some time ago. Front wheels are standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
Produced by Ford , one of the leading American companies that manufactures the most luxurious vehicles and is affiliated with the giant FCA group, the new Ford Maverick truck has several specifications that we will learn about during this report.
The 2022 Maverick has a $19,995 starting price, making it the least expensive new pickup truck in the U.S. by a wide margin. The price climbs to $22,280 and $25,490 for the uplevel XLT and Lariat trims, respectively.

Spy photos and some information about this pickup were leaked during its assembly at the Ford plant in Mexico, which will represent a lower class than the 2021 Ford Ranger.

This truck will compete with only two cars, the Hyundai Santa Cruz and the Fiat Toro/Ram 1000.

- According to the leaked images, the vehicle comes with a strong exterior design with a flat roof and an exterior structure without exaggerated decorations with a black front grille with horizontal pillars design bearing the Ford logo and in the center a horizontal line of lights that illuminate when placing the turn signals, which is also available in the Ford Bronco 2021, integrated with headlights The front bumper has an inverted C-style, air vents to provide aerodynamics, and a wide front bumper.

- The new Ford Maverick is expected to share the same hybrid system used in the 2021 Ford Escape, which combines the work of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (2500 cc) with an electric motor to produce 202 horsepower from their work together.
