Nissan today announced the start of pre-order in the Japanese market for the all-new Nissan Ariya limited-edition model range. Aria, a 100% all-electric crossover, allows customers to travel farther while enjoying greater driving excitement, confidence, comfort and connectivity.

Nissan’s most advanced electric crossover SUV lineup includes two battery sizes, two powertrain options and other exclusive features. A limited-edition version of the Ariya will be called the Ariya B6, a limited-edition two-wheel drive (63 kWh usable capacity) and will be available in Japan this winter, followed by Nissan with other classes later.
Prices for Ariya limited edition models in Japan start around 6.6 million yen, with standard models starting at around 5 million yen, after government support is available. Customers in Japan looking to pre-order can use a special platform from Nissan to choose the Ariya Limited Edition that best suits their lifestyle. Nissan will start taking pre-orders for the Ariya in other launch markets later this year.
Ariya is the pinnacle of Nissan innovation and design

The Nissan Ariya, which was revealed to the world last year, represents a major global model in the framework of the transformation plan pursued by Nissan under the name of the upcoming Nissan NEXT . As a stylish and innovative electric crossover EV that combines Nissan’s expertise in electric vehicles with the latest connected technologies, it represents the next chapter in the Nissan EV story .

Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic that Nissan calls Timeless Japanese Futurism, the modern exterior design of the Nissan Ariya is enhanced by a suite of limited-edition model features. It includes 19-inch aluminum wheel covers with 3D blade design in Limited Bronze with black accents. Five exterior colors are also available, with an exclusive offer of the limited edition model in two shades: Burgundy with Midnight Black.. and Shell Blonde with Midnight Black.

3 For blue-gray interiors, genuine leather is used on the main seat contacts, while faux leather is used for other parts.
Inside the Nissan Ariya’s cabin, the Japanese manufacturer offers a spacious interior that Nissan describes as more like a modern coffee shop. The electric version has given it a Nissan design space, and the Ariya features a flat floor and a host of climate controls that fill the cabin.

The interior of the Ariya Limited Edition includes a panoramic glass roof (with electric tilt and slide, electric retractable shade, and remote function), adding a sense of openness to the interior. The seats are made of luxurious soft Nappa leather, while the exclusive BOSE Premium Sound System operates through 10 speakers that delivers concert hall-like sound quality.

Additional limited-edition features include stylish panels, adorned with the illuminated Ariya logo on the front door. Below, velor floor mats in an exclusive color are decorated with motifs that Nissan said was a Japanese stone garden, conveying traditional Japanese beauty and advanced technology.
Aria with soft performance and a range of options

Taking the excitement and capabilities of zero-emissions mobility to the next level, Nissan offers the all-electric drive system in the Nissan Ariya an example of advanced, seamlessly integrated electric technology . Available for pre-order, Ariya Limited Edition models include four powertrain configurations that cater to a wide range of customer needs and lifestyles.
The first choice with two-wheel drive, which suits urban areas and first-time electric vehicle owners who are looking for quality and elegance in their next-generation vehicles, Nissan called this version the Ariya B6. The standard Ariya B9 features a larger battery, providing extra range for those looking to venture on longer trips.

The Ariya B6 e-4ORCE is powered by all-wheel drive, striking an attractive balance of performance and value in its class. With a slightly less focus on range, this model offers ample performance and innovative new technologies, including twin electric motors and Nissan e-4ORCE control technology. It gives the car balanced and reliable power to all four wheels.
The battery capacity in the first option is 63 kWh usable (nominal capacity 66 kWh). The second option of batteries is a built-in usable 87 kWh battery (nominal capacity 91 kWh).
smart driving

Ariya ensures high levels of comfort and confidence by providing passengers with the latest Nissan technology. These advanced driver assistance features include ProPILOT 2.0 and ProPILOT Remote Park, both standard features on all Nissan Ariya models.
ProPILOT 2.0 is the latest iteration of Nissan’s driver assistance technology. It allows attentive drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel under certain conditions, reducing driver workload and stress in traffic on single-lane highways 4,5.

In addition, ProPILOT 2.0 supports multi-lane highway driving tasks such as lane changing, passing and exiting highways. Malaki.com reassures its readers that self-driving systems are still at the second level and are unreliable.
The Ariya’s other new smart driving feature is ProPILOT Remote Park, which provides the ability to park the vehicle while the driver is outside. Standing six meters from the Ariya while holding the dedicated smart key, the key holder can direct the Ariya to park spots and park in guest spaces.
Regarding self-driving, Nissan confirms that it is possible to drive hands-free when driving in one lane, provided that the driver remains attentive to the road ahead and is ready to manually control the steering wheel immediately when road conditions, traffic and the vehicle require it.
The Ariya is also equipped with additional 360-degree safety features such as Nissan’s signature Safety Shield. This feature includes the Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking and Automatic Emergency Braking.

Nissan stresses that laissez-faire is not available in tunnels where a GPS signal cannot be generated, on highways without a physical separation that divides traffic moving in opposite directions, on winding roads, and in areas of traffic gates or combined driveways. When entering a section of the road where hands-free driving is not available, the system will alert in advance so that the driver can manually control the vehicle’s steering.
Customers in Japan can pre-order Ariya using the latest additions to Nissan’s integrated Shop @ Home experience. Shop @ Home from Nissan caters to the growing demand for online tools and services designed to support a seamless car buying experience. The service provides customers with the flexibility to choose the experience that comfortably matches their preferences. Potential customers’ choices range from a digital buying journey to a mixed “digital to physical” experience. This diversity puts the customer in control every step of the way, from thought and purchase to ownership.

Ariya, is set to roll out in Ariya’s other primary launch markets – Europe, the US and China – later this year. Nissan allows visitors to its site to enjoy advanced offers through its virtual car technology, allowing customers to spend a day with the car in the digital world, while sampling how it fits into their daily lives. The virtual test drive experience uses AR technology and includes a video and text chat service to easily interact with a Nissan specialist about specifications and purchasing.
