How does Arabic air conditioning work? And what are its components?
Surely it came to your mind once while you were standing on the ring road or while you were traveling that you ask how this great invention called car air conditioning works, and perhaps your age did not think about this issue and the most important thing for you is that it is preferable to work. In general, if you want to know its parts and how to work, read the explanation.
First of all, the air conditioning does not just fall off, because this also adjusts the humidity inside the car, and many people are not aware of the fact that turning on the air conditioning while the car is running increases the rate of gasoline consumption because there is static energy that is consumed during the cooling process.
Now we will talk about working principles in Arabic adaptation:
- Firstfumigation: Sure, any of us noticed that if he sprayed cologne on the back of his hand seconds later, he would feel drowsy in the same place, and this is due to the evaporation of the cologne, because during liquid evaporation it absorbs heat from the surface of the skin to use it in evaporation.
- condensation: I noticed before that if someone wears freshness and is outside from a hot place to a hot place, steam will form over the freshness, because the steam of the hot water in the air will condense on the surface of the falling freshness.
- pressure temperature: Have you ever noticed that when you fill the tires with a manual pump, you find that the tip of the pump gets hot? This is because the pressure that occurs to the air leads to an increase in its temperature.
- the pressure:Any gas can easily turn into a liquid, an example of this is the perfume, it will be a liquid in the atmosphere of the atomizer, and as soon as it is sprayed, it will turn into a gas, because the spray is pressurized, the air freshener will be liquid.
- Expansion cooling:As for the perfume, you will notice how it remains liquid when it is out of the jar just because it has expanded.
There are people you know about this information , but there are very many people you don’t know, and we wanted to write it down in order to pave the way for the next. In the part that is coming, we will see how the rest of the principles we said will cool the Arab air through the connections and parts of the air conditioning.
The coolant in the air conditioning unit is capable of evaporating at low temperatures, and condensing at higher temperatures.
Ok, so useful, how does the air conditioning work?
- compressor: This is the one that works the most in the air conditioning, it takes its movement from the motor through the transmission belt that we talked about before, and when the air conditioning works, the compressor compresses the cooled steam at a high pressure for the condenser.
- capacitorIt is a device used to convert refrigerant vapor (which comes from the compressor) of high pressure into a liquid, located in front of the radiator, which is similar to the radiator. The compressed steam from the compressor condenses in the condenser because it is of high pressure (like the liquid in the air when exfoliating a perfume), and heat is emitted from it. This heat goes into the atmosphere through the air that hits the surface of the condenser.
- desiccantAfter the condenser, the coolant goes dry, and this is a small box, removing any moisture in the coolant, because moisture (or ice crystals) can destroy the remaining stages of air conditioning.
- expansion valveIts function is to reduce the pressure of the coolant by making it expand.
- evaporator: Its shape resembles a radiator, and its location is inside the salon, behind the dashboard, above the place of the two legs. After the cold liquid passes through the evaporator, the coolant evaporates and absorbs the heat in the salon, and the fan pumps the cold air that has lost its heat as a result of the evaporation of the liquid (like cologne that does not evaporate from the back of your hand), so the salon temperature drops. And the humidity decreases, and then the compressor draws the coolant to start the cycle from the first.
Expansion Valve: The pressurized refrigerant flows from the receiver-drier to the expansion valve. The valve removes pressure from the liquid refrigerant so that it can expand and become refrigerant vapor in the evaporator.
Evaporator: The evaporator is another device that looks similar to a car radiator. It has tubes and fins and is usually mounted inside the passenger compartment behind the fascia above the footwell. As the cold low-pressure refrigerant is passed into the evaporator, it vaporises and absorbs heat from the air in the passenger compartment. The blower fan inside the passenger compartment pushes air over the outside of the evaporator, so cold air is circulated inside the car. On the ‘air-side’ of the evaporator, the moisture in the air is reduced, and the ‘condensate’ is collected and drained away.
Compressor: The compressor then draws in the low-pressure refrigerant vapor to start another refrigeration cycle. The refrigeration cycle then runs continuously, and is regulated by the setting of the expansion valve.

This is a simple and complete method of air conditioning, and the picture summarizes what we have said.
