Honda Civic Sedan 2022
Let’s take a look at the new version of the eleventh generation of Honda’s small car.
Here’s your first official look at the all- new 2022 Honda Civic Sedan . Instead of an industry-standard teaser featuring a backlit silhouette or just a portion of the headlight shrouded in pitch darkness, Honda is stepping back from the trend and letting us take a full look at the three-quarters front end of its latest bread-and-butter compact sedan as described by Honda.
Enthusiastic Honda fans know that the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan isn’t really our first look at the eleventh generation sedans. The cool orange 2022 Honda Civic concept sedan shown at the end of last year (pictured below and in the gallery) gave us an overview of what to expect from the Civic Metallic’s subtlety; However, the drawn view is all we got in terms of the cockpit design of the pickup.

Little Honda in a royal dress and new design
However, Honda has been keen to bill the prototype as a preview and not literally a production car, so it’s best seen as a set of stylistic touches that will be available on a range of different trims and versions of the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan. So think about the car. Orange as the upcoming 2022 Honda Civic’s “Greatest Hits”.
Well, maybe not all future Civic variants, as Honda has already confirmed that there will be an R-Type based on the eleventh generation, along with the Si and hatchback. Right now, this production-ready red sedan reveals the 2022 Civic Touring-spec four-door, with premium-look contrast wheels.
Honda’s small prototype
There are slight differences in the front end when compared to the prototype, but the orange car seems to have been a sincere first look. It’s a pretty handsome design, especially when parked next to the space-like origami corners of the outgoing Civic, and it looks like a scaled down interpretation of a larger Accord than a sleeker version of the previous generation.

There are good things under the new skin, too. Honda confirmed that the new Civic’s bones were kept from the outgoing car, with significant improvements in torsional stiffness and handling. The current Civic is still one of the most powerful compact cars to drive with any form of body or decor, so we expect the new car to be a dynamite to drive.
There’s still no look at the cabin but based on the sketches provided at the prototype’s first appearance, it’s shaped to have one of the cleanest and most modern interiors in its class. Look inside to reflect the mature aesthetic of the outside, with fewer corners and more horizontal surfaces.

joy? We are . For a full look at the new 2022 Honda Civic, check back here on April 28 when Honda fully lifts the lid.
