“Glass cancer”: its causes and ways to prevent it

Several reports have indicated that high sunlight is the main cause of what is known as “car glass cancer”, as “gasoline” gas is formed inside the car by heat, which causes cancer to the glass.

Contrary to what these reports have found, it is common that the temperature difference inside and outside the car cabin leads to the expansion of the glass particles, which disintegrate and explode.

And between this and that, the careful observations of experts concluded that cars that are exposed to sunlight for long times and do not get an adequate amount of ventilation are more prone to cancer.

From the diagnosis stems the treatment, as a person who has to leave his car exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time must do one or both of two things.

the first:

Finding a suitable ventilation space for the car cabin so that the air remains continuously renewed, which prevents the formation of gases that break the glass.

The second:

If a person has to leave the car in the hot sun, the risk of blocking the car can be reduced by a thick cover that isolates the glass from radiation waves.

In a related context, the American Cancer Society completely and in detail denied that gasoline has any role in causing leukemia in humans when inhaled. The society conducted a comprehensive study in which it analyzed car emissions and found no trace of gasoline gas among them.
