Car care and car repair methods

Whether you are a car owner or a passenger, you should know the requirements for car care, and know the identification of faults and ways to fix them.

First of all, you should look at the brochure attached to the car, so that you can understand the car more, and try to always go at a regular speed, because constant speed is one of the most important things to save fuel and maintain traffic safety.

Before starting the car and when opening the switch (or turning the key) all warning lights must light up automatically, and if they do not light up, this is a warning of a problem.
Check the low and high beams, the reverse lights and the blinkers to make sure they are working.
Do not turn curves at high speed and do not turn left or right suddenly.
Avoid going through potholes and bumps with the steering wheel facing in one direction, and avoid stepping on the brake completely above it.
Avoid leaving the steering wheel heading in one direction for a long time, and do not start quickly while heading to the right or left.
Stop the car with the steering wheel facing straight ahead and not in either direction and start it while it is.
When the car is stopped, the gearbox must be in the off position.
While the engine is warming up, do not apply too much pressure on the gasoline.
In normal cars, the speed is not shifted from R to first gear or vice versa, except when the car is completely stopped. In automatic cars, the speed is not shifted from R to P or vice versa if the car is in motion.

Car care tips

Safe driving tips:

Check the water level in the battery, and add distilled water in case of shortage.
In cases of waiting on the signals, do not use the pedal (the clutch or the clutch) as this leads to wear of the cylinder.
In the event of friction or a scratch on the car body, try to paint it quickly to avoid rust.
In the case of using the car air conditioner when it is stopped, apply a little pressure on the gasoline, so that the engine does not overheat.
Wash the battery compartment of the salts from the battery with hot water so that the battery compartment does not erode.
Change the air filter with every oil change, so dirt doesn’t get into the engine.
Always clean tire cracks from stuck-on gravel to extend tire life.

Avoid doing the following:

Do not increase the radiator (coolant) with cold water while it is hot unless the car is running.
Try not to leave the car for more than three days without running, so as not to lose the battery charge.
Do not turn on the lights or the air conditioner before walking in the car to conserve the battery.
Do not leave the mud stuck to the car from the bottom, but wash it to avoid rust.
Do not turn on the air conditioner directly when operating, but raise it gradually.
Try not to park one of the tires in a pit or on a bump, but rather to park it on flat ground.
Do not exceed the motor oil or the boron oil, and also check it always so that it does not fall below the minimum.

What if the following happens to the car:

You left the car and forgot the lights on?
This will drain the battery and the motor may not start until the battery is charged.

If I change one of the fuses to a fuse with a different ampere number?
It can lead to the heating of the electrical wires and can lead to their failure or burning, so always use a fuse of the same amperage.

If you notice that the radiator water (coolant) is always short?
Most likely, you have to change the cover with a new one, and if it does not solve the problem, you should go to a radiator repair specialist to find out the malfunction.

If you like speed off?
This increases the friction of the clutch cylinder and will lead to damage.

If the engine sounds loud when warming up?
Make sure the motor oil may be deficient, or the engine needs to change the valves, or there is now a problem with the pistons.

The key refuses to turn?
Move the steering wheel left and right while moving the switch.

Knowing car malfunctions and signs on them:

The appearance of strange sounds or strange smells in the car is a warning of a malfunction or problem in the car, and you must solve it early to save your effort and money.
The battery light appears in the dashboard and the car is running: The problem here is that the dynamo is not charging the battery or there is a problem with the battery.
Vibration of the steering wheel or the whole car at high speeds: You have to make a balance adjustment or what is called (adjusting angles) for the car with a specialist.
If you feel a tingling or a sound when the car is running or the car’s acceleration is weak: you should check the electrical kit. You should check the spark plugs and platinum, as it is possible that one of them has malfunctioned or the spark plug.
Strong oil smell: Either the oil tank is overfilled, or the oil has burned too much and needs to be changed.
Smell of burning plastic: Either the tires have heated up due to contact with something or you are driving with the parking brake tight.
A whistle when pressing the brakes: It is often due to the entry of gravel between the drums and the lining, and you have to clean the bottom of the car well or the type of lining is not good.
High friction sound when pressing the brakes: you need to change the lining.
Change the sound of the motor: the sound of the engine changes when it gets hot while driving, and here you have to check the temperature of the clock in the dashboard and stop until the engine cools down if necessary.

Gasoline saving tips:

Shifting between the brakes and gasoline recklessly and driving at an erratic speed increases fuel consumption by 33%.
Starting driving while the car engine is cold increases the fuel consumption rate to double in the case of heating, but do not overheat the motor.
You have to fill the tires with air, because tires that are not well filled increase the percentage of gasoline consumption by up to 3.3%.
Changing the air filter reduces fuel consumption by 10% and protects the engine as well.
Overloading the car increases fuel consumption.
Avoid traffic jams and congestion. Ten minutes of traffic consumes fuel that can travel 8 to 10 kilometers.

Regular maintenance of the car

Wash the entire car and the bottom at the washing station every month or according to use.
Check the air in the tires.
Check brake fluid, gearbox, and burr oil.
Change the engine oil and oil filter every 3 months or after driving 3000 km.
You have to check with the electrician to change the spark plugs and check the dynamo every 6 months or walk 10,000 km.
Changing the places of the tires, to ensure the regularity of their wear and adjust the angles of the calf.
Clean the radiator regularly.
Check the acid level in the battery.
