The first appearance of the Porsche Macan 2022 with more power but without turbo

The Porsche Macan GTS is now the flagship, and it has the power of the Turbo.

The all- new Porsche Macan for 2022 has finally appeared. Thanks to earlier footage and reports that spied on the performance, we didn’t meet many surprises as we had all the details about what was new, what happened and how much it would cost, and put the performance-oriented crossover in our garage.

Obviously one of the big news is the absence of the Turbo model, but don’t be afraid of the ‘turbo’ power supplies. 
The top-tier Macan is now known as the GTS, but it gains 434 horsepower (324 kW) from the turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbo engine. 
With the optional Sport Chrono Package installed,
Porsche says it accelerates from rest to 60 mph (96.4 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, and reaches a speed of 169 mph (approximately 272 km/h). 
It’s actually two miles per hour faster than the Turbo, so there’s definitely no performance lost in the transition to the new model.

In fact, 
the Porsche Macan performs well on all fronts. The current Macan’s engine is more powerful than the previous 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produced 261 hp (195 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm), and the S-Class replaces last year’s GTS to become the top class in Porsche versions Macan this year. 
This means there is a 375 hp (280 kW) version produced by the boosted V6 engine under the hood.

This class also enjoys all Porsche Macan machines, and is powered by all-wheel drive through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. 
Additional standard-edition elements on the GTS include Porsche’s surface-coated brakes, adaptive air suspension with a slightly lower ride height, and suspension up to 15 percent stiffer than the previous GTS.

Choosing a GTS means enjoying the Sport Package, which includes performance necessities such as the Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus technology, plus a wealth of features. 
The sport-style side mirrors are finished in glossy black, the 21-inch GT Design wheels are fitted with high-performance tires, there are 18-way sport seats inside, and there is more black color on the side part as well as the front and rear fascias.

Speaking of other features, here are the minor visual updates. 
The front end gets integrated air intakes and body-color front trims. 
In the current version of the Porsche Macan, the three narrow slits on the bottom are blended into a single continuous strip, and the entire front appears more beautiful and symmetrical. 
The prominent side blades are distinguished by a different texture that Porsche likens to a three-dimensional element,

While the backend has a black diffuser that extends upwards. 
In addition to LED headlights as standard, Porsche says there are no fewer than seven new wheel designs customers can choose from, ranging from 19-inch or 21-inch sizes depending on trim level.

The internal updates are similarly accurate. 
In the redesigned center console area we find the basic change, as there are tactile elements and switches for a cleaner look while also providing more storage space. 
A shorter gear stem extends from the console, and the driver takes over the work with a new steering wheel that was adopted on the 911. In the center, you’ll find a 10.9-inch touchscreen display, next to the standard-edition analog clock. 
Our new version has a range of safety and driver assistance systems such as park assist, lane keep assist and other features.

As for pricing, Porsche says the 2022 Macan starts at $54,900. 
The Macan S starts at $65,400, while the flagship GTS starts at $79,000. 
The connection fee of $1,350 is an surcharge across the board, and all trims will arrive at dealerships in early 2022. 
The electric Porsche Macan is undergoing road testing before hitting the roads in 2023 , and I don’t know if the Macan will continue with the combustion engine side-by-side or the electric version. The combustion copies will disappear and complete their marches with electric motors.

$54,900Price: The 2022 Porsche Macan starts at $54,900. The S trim starts at $65,400, and the top GTS model starts at $79,900.
