Pagani Automobili SpA is an Italian manufacturer of sports cars and
carbon fibres . The company was founded in 1992, founded by Furacio Pagani, and is headquartered in
San Cesario sul Panaro near
Modena , Italy .
Despite its long history of thirty years, it has produced only two models of cars, including the new “Huayra R” with a 12-cylinder engine with 850 horsepower.
Pagani Huayra R track-only supercar, with 850hp V12 engine, unveiled. Italian automaker Pagani has unveiled its limited-run, track-only Huayra R supercar. Its production will be limited to just 30 units. As for the highlights, the vehicle has an aggressive look and a 2-seater cabin with many features

It is the second car produced by Pagani besides the Pagani
zonda model, which goes from zero to a speed of 100 km h (60 mph) in just 3.2 seconds, it is a super sports car like all Pagani products.
Pagani revealed
the
Huayra R , which contains a range of unique features and parts, including the Ghoul 12-cylinder engine. Pagani derives its engines from Mercedes, which supplies the Italian carmaker with V12 engines, with a capacity of 6.0 liters naturally aspirated.

However, the
Huayra R needed something special, so
Pagani partnered with
HWA AG , a Mercedes-Benz car company, to design and build a bespoke engine.
The result is a powerful treadmill that produces 850 horsepower (625 kW) and 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque.
And that power comes with a glaring 9,000-rpm red line as well, which should produce a totally harsh exhaust note.

The company says the
Huayra R will look like the Formula 1 car of yesterday.
Pagani will use an exhaust system called ”
Inconel “, which was developed specifically for the new R. It features identical-length exhaust pipes for all 12 cylinders, which are mated to uniquely designed manifolds and exhaust pipes.

The track-only supercar comes equipped with mufflers that can be installed to reduce exhaust sound to within the FIA’s 110 dB sound limit for noise-restricted tracks.
Pagani builds the car around a new titanium carbon monocoque body, which uses the engine and transmission made of integral parts to increase rigidity, and transmits power paths to the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed asynchronous gearbox.

A pair of active aerodynamic flaps at the rear help the car manage aerodynamics.
The car produces 2,204 lb (1,000 kg) of downforce at 199 mph (320 kph).
The Huayra R weighs 2,315 lb (1,050 kg) dry.

Pagani plans to produce just 30 models of the Huayra R, each costing 2.6 million euros ($3.1 at current exchange rates), plus taxes.
But the price gives you a great piece of automotive engineering.
Brilliant in form and content, along with superhuman strength.
